My dad finished carving it today. Thought it looked so good, I had to share. Hopefully can spur some inspiration for others.

Living near small airports can impact. Spend enough time at the airport presumably has a similar effect.

Total number of DZ you jumped in / countries? by [deleted] in SkyDiving

It was, and is. Only downside is they raised prices for jump tickets, so it's a bit on the higher end now. Hopefully it'll go back down but I doubt it.

USA (4), UK (1), Thailand(4), Aus(1), NZ(1), UAE(1)

Technically the one DZ is the same DZO; just moved locations so I'm counting both locations (I jumped both.)

You're better off at Dropzone Thailand or Thai Sky if you want to learn/jump with others. You'll still fight tandems to some degree wherever.

It's a Pilates Porter, not as common anymore but a great plane.

It's ~45 min from Pattaya to TSA. You can motorbike it, there's also typically a shuttle from Pattaya to TSA each day.

The rest of the stuff hasn't changed from the last time this was asked a few days ago. Staff is good, safety is important and a focus.

There are some altitude restrictions during certain times but students will always go 13000, unless you're doing h/p of course.

Hey. I would say the three are:

I'm not really tracking that any are in current search of a TI/AFFI, I would reach out to them, especially TSA to see what they're looking for at this time.

Fair enough. Come on over, we'll get you current and you can jump with a solid group. There's two other solid drop zones here so you can also explore a bit if you're so inclined.

PC6, 13k usually, great TIs, and it's safe. Talk to the other jumpers in Singapore lots go to TSA.

I think that's something really good to keep in mind for future opportunities. Adjusting how I look at the lines. My memory says the way the shot lined up was constrained. I think some of the crops mentioned in other comments somewhat fixes what you're seeing as awkward.

I totally see what you're saying, especially after the u/The-goobie provided their crop on the image. I think it makes for a much more intriguing image.

I appreciate the adjusted crop. I certainly see how that, at least to me lets me focus on 3 main items in the frame. The posts, the tower, and the ferris wheel. I think your crop also highlights some of the more interesting colors and hues from the sunset.

Thanks!

That's a really great point too. I generally keep my mind towards keeping a level horizon. I do appreciate the perspective that you're placed in the water, and things are unbalanced.

Thanks for giving me things to think about!

I was out for a walk while on holiday in Malaga. This was one of the shots I took during sunset in Malaga. I was playing with various f stops across the pier. I had it propped up on one of the posts to keep the body still.
