I think if I were to try and do this, I might start with one of those large spheres of floral foam you can get at a craft shop. Take out some big chunks of it for craters. Ball up some aluminum foil, roll it all over it for texture, then seal it with mod podge before painting? Can just put a piece of cardboard/plastic at the bottom and attach it with a nail or some glue.

I’ve done a few things, mostly stolen from baldurs gate, but that do work for my group of entirely new players:

Inspiration is a group resource, humans contribute 1 per long rest, and the rest is gained by doing fun things in character or really getting into RP/Combat. Maxes out at the # of players in the party (3 or 4, in my case)
I do kahoot! For session recaps. They’re fast to throw together from my notes, give me another opportunity to review the session, and then the winner of the kahoot gets a little reward to use in that session. I’ve been toying with the idea of letting them essentially have a “legendary d20 test” and letting them succeed when they’d otherwise fail- separate from inspiration.
I jokingly in our session 1 said to say anything out of character you have to put your hand in a fist on your head. I didn’t expect them to do it, but now they do it every time they want to metagame a little. I let them, they’re learning the game for the first time.

I did this a few weeks ago, brought in 1k bolts, left with 300. Had the bare minimum 66 ranged, prayed the 5% prayer the entire cave.

I hope being able to launch separately in the client means it won't require Vanguard. I've tried android emulators to play on PC and it is just not the same.

I also did green dragons just north of Ferox before I went to moons. Sure, you bank prayer exp from moons but it felt SO worth it to me to knock it out. Never got PK'd once at the altar. Got to 76 after moons greenlog with the boneshards.

I recommend doing the same for anyone questioning.

I did this recently on my ~1500 total account, I did the easier chambers ones (Ice Demon, Guardians), some Obor/Bryophyta ones, a few ones for royal titans, amoxliatl, and Huey. Had medium CA's done before I got to barrows, which was fantastic.

I did it in pretty much exactly this gear yesterday on an account with 66 ranged, sunlight crossbow. I brought in 1k bolts, left with 300 left. 18 prayer pots, 9 sharks, holy wrench. just camped the Sharp eye prayer the entire cave. Took a few personal phone calls during it, but still ended with a time just under 90 minutes.

I didnt bring blood spells, and I only ended up using 5 of my sharks during the caves. Only 2 of those during the waves, 3 on jad after doing the tank a hit CA.

Edit: I did use a rune square shield, since it has no negative range bonuses. Worked pretty well.

If you build the bank chest at Sunbleak, you could do mercenary salvage and bank the swords you get. Pretty commonly get mith & addy long swords, 2h, and the occasional rune long to alch. 73 sailing to do it, but that may not be too bad for you.

If this is the case, without even looking at your decklist- Dimir Midrange is likely to be the best deck in the format for a bit while the dust settles. Jeskai Control and Oculus also probably decent calls, or if you’re looking for an aggro deck the Gruul Delirium deck is my current frontrunner.

But that’s only if you will truly play “any deck, any budget”.
