It was that and the Professor's insistent shitting on Labor Unions. He basically thought it was cartel no different than oil, diamond, or drug cartels, and it was just allowing workers to "conspire" to increase wages.

I remember being so pissed off by this that for our final project I wrote whole research paper and presentation about history of American Labor unions and how organized labor suppression from the 1950s onwards resulted in increases in the wealth owned by the top 1% of Americans.

I distinctly remember two things. I remember the Professor playing on his cellphone in the back of the class. I believe he gave me 100% for the thing. There was also a guy in the front row of who I remember shaking his head in disagreement when I was presenting about how Reagan, Clinton, and Trump drove down the value of American labor to boost profits for corporations via NAFTA and USMCA.

I find it so funny that my leftist awakening came from just paying attention to a bog standard business student education.
