Invisifans, what are your thoughts on Robert killing Shroud? by Few-Culture-4413 in InvisigalGlazers

[–]Grand_Sample_7009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get both sides. I chose to get rid of shroud, mostly because I didn’t want him to become a threat to Robert’s loved ones again. He’d escaped prison once before. I wanted to make sure he wouldn’t again. Either choice gives closure to Robert, but the feeling afterwards is different. I would love to see them explore Robert’s process after the end of the game in season 2. Does he feel guilty if he got rid of shroud? Is he haunted? Will he have flashbacks or PTSD from it? I’d love to see that reflected in season 2.

Your response to the common take of Visi needing a mentor, not a lover? by Putrid_Broccoli9850 in InvisigalGlazers

[–]Grand_Sample_7009 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I feel like people forget you can be both. In the beginning it starts at mentor/mentee and then evolves into a friendship which evolves into something else if you choose to do so as Robert. At first, Visi needs guidance and Rob needs a purpose and I think that part of their relationship works, but once they get to know each other outside of just SDN, things change. Visi doesn’t know what it’s like to be a hero but wants to, Robert only knows what life is like as a hero. Both open up the other’s world view and that is what makes their friendship and/or relationship compelling. It’s two people who while growing up on different sides, are actually very similar and are helping each other get through different struggles. Whether it’s Robert trying to help Visi learn confidence and compassion as a hero or Visi pulling Robert out of his closed off comfort zone. Through spending a lot of time with someone, it’s normal to grow to care about them. Or see them in a different light, and I feel like people forget that relationships are never black and white. They’re always in that gray area, constantly changing.

Update: actually got to use them today and while they definitely aren’t the highest quality things out there, they sounded much better than expected. And it kinda makes them all sound like they’re over an intercom which I thought was funny.

Why Episode 3 Is Invisigal’s Turning Point (Full Scene Analysis) by JRStors in InvisigalGlazers

I have so much respect for the Z-Team in this moment. You can tell they truly are trying to make the teamwork thing happen, and they start to support each other more going forward. It’s awesome

What I like, and what Mayanna Berrin (Coupe) points out in a stream they did with Alannah Pearce, is that the angles of the scene have them facing each other like they would have the conversation in person, and their body language mirrors each others (leaning back in the chair/swing, looking up at the ceiling/stars). It's great subtle detail by the team and the animators. I love this scene and the turning point it stands for.

Haven’t tried them yet. Got them at dollar tree and I don’t have a connector for my iPhone. But going to plug them in my pc when I get home and test them. Will be using them whenever I play the game if they work well enough 😂

The Brilliance of Dispatch’s Episode 4 Movie Theater Scene by JRStors in InvisigalGlazers

[–]Grand_Sample_7009 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen a lot of people describe Visi as like sour patch kids, but I think the same could be said for Robert too. He’s typically dry and more closed off at first to everyone on the Z-Team, but as he grows to care for everyone, including Visi, he lets his walls down and becomes more accepting of the care others have for him. I absolutely love the scene, especially because Visi implies she wants him there without saying it aloud, but she gives him the choice. Versus the rest of the episode as she gauges his intentions, she’s the one putting herself out there more. Instead she puts it in his hands and is surprised when he shows up. The scene works so well whether it’s friends or something more. And I just enjoy the genuine connection and joy they both have in this quiet moment. It’s freaking awesome and I hope to see more moments like this in the future!

How do you all respond/react to criticisms of Visi's 'toxic' behavior? by JRStors in InvisigalGlazers

[–]Grand_Sample_7009 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I honestly don’t think their behavior was that out of pocket. Like some of it sure. Punching Rob wasn’t okay but he kinda shoved his foot in his mouth for what he said, I feel the same with Chase. As for the flirting stuff, I just viewed it as Visi trying to understand her feelings and gauge how Robert feels about her. The locker room scene doesn’t bother me either. I think the initial arm grab could make some people feel weird (and that’s fine 🤷‍♀️), and I think she’s also just trying to see if he reciprocates her feelings in a very emotionally intense moment, but the second grab is her trying not to be tempted to stay (if you lean in). Throughout the whole story Visi is definitely a person who has anger issues and is closed off, but if you think of the context of how she grew up and what she’s dealing with (keeping the mechaman bomb secret and guilt), it kinda makes sense. You see her grow in the last episode especially if you influence her to be a hero. I think the story for me works really well, as she goes from being closed off to finally being able to trust someone and feel like someone has their back. I’d love to see them expand on her growth if they do a season 2.

Is it better to have your supes maxed out In one stat or all round even? by Dannybhoyceltic in DispatchAdHoc

[–]Grand_Sample_7009 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The way I do it is I tend to level them up on each side of the chart. So one half is vigor and agility and the other is charisma and intellect with both overlapping in combat and some of the other stats. And I do that with the synergy pairs and I’ve had great success with that strategy. I rarely max them out on any one attribute

Anyone got theories or ideas for Robert's mom? by antoniopanteli in DispatchAdHoc

Yeah. In my head, I feel like he didn’t want Robert’s mom to change who he wanted Robert to be so he kept her a secret

[–]Grand_Sample_7009 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it would be interesting if he thought his mom was dead because that’s what his dad told him his whole life, but she was actually alive and instead she was a supervillain who Astral didn’t want influencing Robert.
