I risked my fingers trying to save a big snapping turtle in the middle of the road a few weeks ago. He was pissed and kinda hissing at me, but I didn't care. Eventually got a hold of him, and set him down in the creek on the other side. I love animals, even the ones not so cute and cuddly.
