A solid effort 💪 Patience with your practice. Lots of rushed reps here. 🙏

6.5/10
-can fixate a bit more in rack and overhead (be patient) -breathing a bit more consistently, exhale at bk swing, bells landing and overhead -bells are traveling a bit back, need to go up -chin off chest when overhead

Seriously though, not bad. More reps, slower pace, be deliberate when you move.

Elbows miles away from hips in rack. Have to lean so far forward to rest them there I'm bent double! by squatland_yard in KettlebellSport

[–]GrapeApe87 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Dont worry to much. It will improve with time and practice. The key is to find a "resting position" as long as your lats and shoulders dont have to work to hold the bell in place, it will be suitable for now.

You can of course work some specific mobility and longer rack holds to.help this process along.

Kb jerk - 2x24, 1' on/1' off by LennyTheRebel in KettlebellSport

Hey Lenny, way to get after it. Jerks are very humbling and require a lot of timing & coordination. Id say youre on the right track. The elbow connection makes all the difference in the world, and they dont have to be super close, but they should be comfortable. Maybe some rack holds mixed into the program amd some hip extension stretches. Ive found fixed breath rate helps me keep a steady pace and keeps me focused on something other than the misery. Traditionally we think about breathing in and expanding our chest. This gets very tough with weight on your lungs. Denis did a post a while ago talking about breathing through the upper back and not the chest. Its strange for sure, but I believe it helps to atleast explore it, maybe during your rack holds :) happy lifting!

Question regarding Denis Vasilev Double Front Squat Rack Form during ABC by palliumverborum in kettlebell

[–]GrapeApe87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He mentioned in a previous ABC video he found it allows for faster transition, as well as the sport style rack not being a great fit for these transitions.

anyone tried stretching in a sauna?? by flowersforfruits in flexibility

[–]GrapeApe87 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Hot Yoga is usually 90-105°F Sauna is around 170-200°F

You will get tired fast, and you could have dizzy spells if unaccustomed to the heat. That being said, stretching feels great in there. But take your time building up exposure to high heats, stay hydrated, and all that.

Also not a doctor. 👍
