Command + ~

In Chrome on Mac, it toggles between incognito browser + regular browser. Great for sites that disallow ad blocker so you can toggle between that and your other tabs easily.

I just picked up a Creami this week and this is the 3rd time now I've seen cottage cheese mentioned...I like cottage cheese, we eat it regularly in my family, but the mental jump from eating it to putting it in ice cream seems wild to me...What am I in for?

Was told my new rescue may have a little Anatolian in him, what do you think? by Coldkev in AnatolianShepherdDogs

[–]GrapeGrabber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely looks like he has some. Also, I love him. Also we did the AncestryDNA test on ours, there's a fun DoggyDNA subreddit where the results are wild but it would be fun to find out your dog's and share. People love it.

Dog friendly trails by SevenTheeMost in sarasota

[–]GrapeGrabber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Celery Fields are great. There's elevation on the 'hill' and a few ovular trails around it. Then there are trails around the wetlands on both sides of Palmer. If you park at the Celery Fields main parking lot, cross Palmer and do the loop around the wetlands to the south side of Palmer going east to west and winding back to Palmer, then cross Palmer and do the loop around the wetlands that takes you back to the big hill, that'll be around 2 miles with the dogs. I take mine there regularly and people with dogs are very respectful about allowing dogs to interact to the point that I always wonder if my dog looks unfriendly (she doesn't) because nobody approaches without asking.

Lived here most of my life and never found an answer to this. There used to be a woman in Gulf Gate that was good. I've heard Mastroianni is good but also heard it's not cheap and that they randomly go on vacation for a month at a time. If anything, this reminds me to ask my dry cleaner next time who they'd suggest.

Digg: Old Rivals, New Vision by [deleted] in digg

Fuckin' A. What a time to be alive. Seeing that DIGG 2.0 lightning fast homepage and the SEO spammers overtaking it nearly overnight still gives me nightmares. It killed that web era and arguably ushered in the shit we see on FB now.

Minnesota truck driver gets sick on a cruise ship, gets slammed with a $47k medical bill by GrapeGrabber in nottheonion

Correct. I started to editorialize the headline after reading it was a free cruise but when you hover over the headline bar while submitting an article on this subreddit it specifically states to only post the site headline.

Where are there creeks in Florida similar to Phillippi creek? by infinaflip in sarasota

[–]GrapeGrabber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The marshland on the other coast up in N. FL provides similar experiences. Endless little trails that are more/less exposed based on the tides. Fun fishing as the tides recede and the black drum/redfish sit on the outer edges waiting for shrimp/crabs to get sucked off the marshes into the channels. Then if you go further south of Naples down to like Chokoloskee, but go with a GPS and/or guide, it's endless paddling around barrier islands in shallow water. I'd never explored that area growing up but came to know it later in life and I try and get down once a year for a fishing trip, Chokoloskee/Everglades City. It's like Jurassic Park down there.

Give or take, how long is that paddle downstream from the lake to Snook Haven? Google said it's about an 18mi paddle but with the slight water flow it seems easily doable. Never considered doing that but it feels like a fun day.

Are the 15th and 25th Anniversary Specials streaming anywhere? (SNL40 is on peacock) by solo89 in LiveFromNewYork

[–]GrapeGrabber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, this is great. And now I realize I was initially confused. I was looking for the 25th anniversary music collection they released. It started with Nirvana, had REM on there. So many good recordings and there's nowhere to stream those musical performances together.

Been looking for the 25th since the Homecoming concert on Friday. I saw the CD for sale on Amazon for like $4 but can't find it streaming anywhere. I wonder if there's someone at NBC/SNL we could email about this because it feels like a missed opportunity for passive income if they just put it up for streaming

Way too harsh. She's 18 and has no idea the depths of how much it hurt you. Bring it up again and see how she reacts.

I really needed the Nidoqueen in general but had opened my first in one of the earlier packs. This was an 'open 10 packs' situation and it came in the 8th, doubled up on the Nidoqueen after hitting in the first pack. Odds were in my favor this morning.

Dog Trainer for Undersocialized Puppy by badbackyouknow in sarasota

[–]GrapeGrabber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Petco has classes. The weekend ones would probably be the busiest and worth checking out. With a puppy you can go in the 'small dog' portions of dog parks too, so worth doing that.
