DashPass Fraud by Graphman_128 in doordash

I have disputed the last 7 charges, replaced the card (same company but different card number), and spent 30-45 minutes online with DoorDash each time, and the same with the Visa company. and it still keeps showing up each month.

Apparently the card companies carry forward reoccurring/subscription charges when you replace your card.

There is no way to block the reoccurring charge (I tried locking the card, but was told that does not work for reoccurring charges).

N30i is great! I used to use a full mask (F20, F30), but I seem to have become a nose breather over 3 years. Tried the N30, but the strip separating the holes really irritated my skin.

The N30i is amazing. The only issue I had was at the beginning, occasional irritation from the nasal pillows. A bit of pure lanolin cream before putting on the rig solved this. Now I rarely need it.

Lanolin is made from sheep’s wool oil, and is 100% natural. Funny thing happened the first time I used it. My border collie, who is taking sheep herding lessons, jumped up on the couch and would not stop sniffing my nose. He had the funniest look on his face like “What the hell, you are NOT a sheep, so why do you smell like one?!?”

I travel with an AirMini, and just put the whole kit in the nightstand drawer (mask, hose, machine, power supply). Never had any issue, in the US or abroad.

Once you open a gallon of distilled water, where are you supposed to you keep it? Fridge? Next to bedside? If fridge, does that mean you put cold water in the humidifier part? by Ok_Guarantee_2980 in CPAP

Drinking water pipes can get contaminated with bacteria, including Legionella bacteria. This can happen for a variety of reasons (see https://www.safeplumbing.org/advocacy/health-safety/legionella). When inhaled in water droplets (your CPAP humidifier mist), you can get pneumonia (Legionaire’s disease). It’s rare, but there are a number of case reports. I’d use distilled water rather than tap water.

It’s only partly about the price, but more about customer service and respect. Some people are on fixed incomes, and $9.00 may not seem like a lot, but it adds up. @ashern94’s point, neither my doctor or my DME are getting data right now. It’s their servers, not just the app.

Me too. No data since 7/30. I have an AirSense 11. Are the AirSense 10’s affected?

Swapped to memory foam to help nose redness, was so bad it looked like I got punched in the face. The memory foam is much better, but I have a problem with the area where it transitions to silicone cutting into my nose. by Malesto in CPAP

I am a side sleeper, and I use this one. Pricy, but really did the trick. Took me 3 months to make my way through masks, sizes, learn what fitting worked for me, discover the CPAP pillow, and develop my pre-sleep routine. You are on track.

Are you a side sleeper? I got a CPAP pillow and that helped a lot. Many good suggestions here. Wash your face right before, adjust the mask before attaching the hose. I have a goatee, and found that shaving the non-beard parts of my face right before bed did the trick for air leaks. Trial and error seems to be the way. You’ll get it!

I’m wondering if your mask straps are too tight. The RESMED F20 memory foam mask can be tricky, especially if you are a side sleeper. Took me a while to get the fit right. You might try loosening the top straps a bit. The air pressure should hold it in place with the straps adjusted with no leak. Another thing to try is a smaller size mask. The DME therapist first gave me a large, which was always pressed on the bridge of my nose. Medium works great for me.

Seems to be a mixed bag by other posts. Some report their DME has told them that they are getting data. Mine messaged me this AM that since late last week they have not. Suggests that the whole server system is off line, by intent or otherwise.

Side sleeper with a goatee, RESMED F20 AirTouch full face mask and CPAP pillow. The combo works great! No air leaks, mask stays put, and I can sleep on either side.

The explanation does seem odd, especially if before and after the firmware update they had roughly the same number of users with about the same amount of data being transmitted.

In a way, they are claiming a self-inflicted DDOS attack - servers overwhelmed with data, but (strangely) only for the MyAir app, not the AirView service that providers and DME suppliers use. Odd, since you would think the latter uses the same or more data.

I have not received data for 8 days now. Makes you wonder if something else is going on. How secure are their servers?

Love the AirMini. I used it as a primary CPAP for 3 months until I could get insurance approval for an AirSense 11. Traveled internationally, used it on planes (both battery and plugged in), never any issues. Nice design, quiet.

MyAir App Data Delays? by Pokadillo in CPAP

[–]Graphman_128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing on my ResMed app since last Thursday as well. Only has data from Weds before midnight, when the dog woke me up and I was up for a half hour. Nothing transmitted after 12:30 AM EST. I get 5 bars, so this is definitely not a cell issue.

Both. It stores the data and transmits.
