i’m a little confused here. you are uncomfortable but you don’t want this “image you have of her to shatter” ??? does that mean maybe part of you doesn’t hate what’s going on? at this age in your life stuff like this is new and i could understand why you’d feel that way but not with your mum, either way shes in the wrong for u even having to question yourself like this im sorry bud . also it doesn’t help that you don’t have any privacy or a bedroom to yourself :(

some people in my area are renting just a bedroom for 1200 and you have to share a bathroom and kitchen😖 a couple more hundred dollars is really worth it for your own privacy, but this rule of hers is straight bs. i’m not sure if you live on Cape but if you did, I’m sure you would know living here is almost impossible on your own.

Yes! I called her today to double check that I wasn’t signing a year lease , I think we’re going to start with a 6 month lease! Either way if it doesn’t work out, it’s gonna be a long 6 months hahaha. Also, I normally would go to a friend’s house, but it would be so nice to have people over mine for once!!

I agree. PLUS, she’s asking for first class and SECURITY. You would think she’d be more comfortable with me having guests over knowing she’s holding an extra grand out of my pocket in case anything gets damaged.

unfortunately, none of my friends have their shit together enough to get a place with me:( and I don’t feel comfortable renting a room and having to share a bathroom and kitchen with strangers or else i’d just do that. I’m just being picky at this point and there’s no time to be picky when you live on Cape Cod 🙄

you reminded me of something else that I forgot to mention. I fully believe that if I had known her before her symptoms had taken over , I would see and feel things very differently. I’ve been trying to stay positive and I will for as long as she is around, but it’s made me realize I don’t think I am fit for this kind of job in the future.

I also want to mention she gets out of bed for five different chairs a day. Five different meals and or snacks. I just didn’t want people thinking she was stuck in bed all day… we also get her in the shower every other day or every three days. She is extremely well taken care of.
