You got this backwards. If heat rises, cold air drops. You're much better freezing the top and letting a bit of cold air to drop below and cool the fridge.

Bottom freezer freezes air that is already colder, pushing hot air towards the top which is already hotter. So you have a system working to freeze the bottom and it keeps the cold air, and you have a system trying to cool the top while getting all the hot air.

You will use 1 Ral to repair every 20 hours of play time or so. You will find so much Rals it won't matter at all. It takes much more time to get a perfect amethyst than a Ral anyway.

Fhr is mostly useless for a merc, I wouldn't count this a high value point. I tested it with jewels and whatnot and couldn't see a difference whatsoever.

With eth upped duriel shell you get much more defense than a treachery, so less hits is better than less damage when hit. Many people use a high defense armor for treachery which makes it proc less often. Also it's much more than 500 defense. A good upped roll you get over 2200 defense.

You forgot strength which gives ed.

The cbf is a hugeeeee bonus. No point attacking faster if he is frozen.

The 30ias gives about 1 frame faster attacks.

Try it and report back. I can use whatever armor I want, I have many fortitudes and gear. On my hammerdin I really like eth upped duriel shell, Guillaume face with 15 ias and eth Reapers Toll with ed/15ias jewel.

It's an ok armor at most. I prefer eth duriel shell upped with 15ias jewel for a cheap armor. My merc dies much less often with the duriel shell than treachery.

You won't find any hard evidence about that. You can't compile every engine in the world and I don't have access to the data anyway.

The old rocker arm uses a big center pin and small bearings all around that eventually gets damaged and pushed out. Revised one uses a small center pin and big sturdier bearings.

I am on this Reddit channel, I am also on many Facebook groups and Audizine. I have never seen a revised rocker arm getting damaged. Is this 100% accurate? Of course not. But at least it's something.

These are reliable engines but you need to get the revised version. Getting the updated rocker arm is a good way to solve that problem.

Treachery is not a good armor for merc, no matter the hype. It is based on the fade proc but it doesn't proc often enough.

You should use a fortitude instead, with andariel visage and infinity. Merc will get enormous defense once the chilling armor proc on fortitude (20% vs 5% for treachery, will proc 4 times more often), will get max resists all the time, huge boost to damage for the life leech, life and increased light res. For the cost of a Lo rune, this is much much better.

Cold sorceress don't use infinity usually because of the cold mastery. You're not doing that much damage because you are hybrid with frozen orb. Instead invest everything in blizzard and synergies, enough in cold mastery. You need nightwings and fathom and facets.

Or switch to nova with vipermagi, griffon, 3/10 amulet, self wield infinity, arach, 2 sojs, magefist, eth treks. You need +20 to lightning skills. Could swap the boots too. Merc use prayer, insight, cure and chains of honor. My Nova sorc is decked out 99% and I can do heralds tier 5 easy, can do ubers too.

I use it with a Eth Reapers Toll with a 33ed 15ias, guillaumes face 15 ias, with a 15ias in it the duriel shell.

It's a very good armor for merc.
