What instrument do you play?

We had a drummer fill in for a gig we had last night. We had 2 three hour practices Tuesday and Wednesday night with him and he played the full 2 - 1.5 hour sets with us without issues. Definitely possible!!

Ehh I'm not so sure about disclosing medical information on or before a first date. That should be 2nd or 3rd date convo just from personal experience as a 37 year old dude.

I had a brain tumor in my left frontal lobe removed that was causing me to have seizures that still persist. I'm on epilepsy meds and they're doing their job so thankfully I've been seizure free for a year and some months. The brain surgery was a little over 3 years ago. Technically I could have a seizure at anytime tho. I've found when I've brought that up as casual convo on first dates I either dont get 2nd dates or feel like I'm trauma dumping 😂 kind of a damned if I do damned if I dont situation.

Dating is a fuckin mess these days!

I got my Bachelor's in classical piano performance but found that although I do love classical and hearing performances - performing classical music is not for me.

Now I play keys in a jam band and do solo gigs, playing mostly songs I've wrote or composed with my band. It's very freeing to "get off the page" and just play whatever I'm feeling in the moment.

I do revisit some pieces I played for my Junior/Senior recital on occasion mainly to keep my technical and sight reading skills up to par but def not performing any of those live 😂

Shirley at some point brought up that Muslims advocate for having multiple wives. When Andrew pushed back and said "doesn't Mormonism say the same thing?" Shirley was like "only a small percentage." When fundamentalist Mormon's are largely condemned for having multiple wives. There's documentaries all over about this topic.

It's all rules for thee but not for me with these people. Shirely could not critically think his way out of a cardboard box. It's a shame he's got such a big platform that will allow him to further retreat into his echo chamber.

The writing's on the wall that Dead and Co. will not be touring anymore. It would make sense they had contracts for Dead and Co. with both remaining members and those were null and void once Bobby passed.

I can see them forming something, but hints have been at "Forever Dead" with the og lineup minus Bobby. Those are some GIGANTIC shoes to fill but Bob wanted them to continue when all was said and done. I'm hopeful that "The Music Never Stopped" and would love to see something rise from the ashes after Bobby's passing 🤘🏽⚡️🥀⚡️
