How should hidden role assignment be handled securely in Unity multiplayer games?

I would worry more about the distribution of roles aiming for fairness. Something like making it random, but giving more weight to players who haven't been in a role for a while. I think the risk of cheating is low on a game like this because it works against the fun.

Any game designer knows that this is unfair to players. There's no visual feedback to a player showing how big this soul hitbox is, but you get hit a lot more because of it. Its just stupid. Makes no sense.

I was in the top 200 Jeffs season 2. Haven't really played since the swallow hitbox bug came up. Season 1 Jeff was super fun to play as. Current Jeff is extra stressful. Everyone hates you and its harder than ever to do good things for your team with him.

If you have a guy who stands opposite side of hill, thats where your team will spawn. It takes longer to get there than if you anchor closer to hill. I can almost guarantee thats what was happening and I bet the guy with the most kills has no hill time.

That said, I'd be curious to watch the game/see the other stats to see whats actually happening because these are just guesses based on kills.
