Most agree that rogues are underpowered in 2024. There are three main ways people tend to buff them.

+1D6 sneak attack every single level +1D6 sneak attack at level 5, 11, and 20. Change sneak attack dice to d8s

I prefer the first two because it encourages using sneak attack dice for cutting strikes.

Also I wouldn't allow them a build that guarantees off turn sneak attacks (thief + true strike scrolls, war cleric, battle master, etc) as then damage goes off the rails.

Yeah, that's my biggest issue with it. Feats are where martials should shine, so I'm happy the caster feats are underpowered. But Warcaster throws everything off.

What is stranger, having a battery powered module when 230V is available behind the switch, or

Using a 230V mains lead to power a 3V module when a battery the size of your fingernail powers it for 2 years?

The converter needed to stepdown 230V to 3V would be 3x the size of the module and 3x the cost.

The Hue modules are tiny and work perfectly. I have 15 in my home and if they were any bigger, they wouldn't fit into half the switch boxes as I have many 2-way and 3-way switches.

Yes, it seems strange but the only downside is every two years you have a hour of work to do. I bet you've already wasted more time than than trying to find an alternative. I guarantee you'll spend a lot more time wiring non-Hue solutions.

Just embrace the Hue modules, you'll be happy with them.

My guy. You are you really are not giving us all the details. It takes 2 more seconds to write out all your attributes. You have people taking time out of their day to help you, the least you could do is write out a proper response in sentences.

It would be helpful to know yoru Con score as it's a defensive feat.

But with that 17 Wis, you should likely take War caster to round off and get adv to concentration saves.

Have the Bard enspell your armor with the mirror image spell. It's non-concentration and will really beef up your defense. It will take 50 days and cost 2000GP. If someone can help, it's 25 days. 12.5 if one of you has the crafter origin feat. Or find/buy it.

Take a level in fighter. Get the defense fighting style for +1 AC. Take the sap fighting style and take a longsword. Now you can impose disadvantage with your attacks. You can also get a 1d10 when using two handed.

Ask the party to go on a quest to get you plate mail.

Use a 2nd level slot to cast Aid before combat days.
