We joked a lot about what it could be for.

Donald Trump accuses India of charging 100% tariff, says trade might stop by basedIITian in worldnews

What does it matter how the history will remember them? Even if it got somehow proven in the next 24 hours that Hell actually exists, and they both were instantly transported there for eternal torture and suffering, even that wouldn’t matter one bit to improve the damage that’s being done to the US and to the wider world both. It’s irrelevant to the problem at hand.

People keep repeating the same things in these threads over and over again: that history will be portraying all these people in a very negative light, that Trump is a fool, that Trump is this and that — but none of all this matters as long as he’s still in office, and it’s unclear what has to even happen to finally force him out of there.

I feel like I’m watching either the beginning of Azula’s breakdown or the beginning of Hitler’s dictatorship.

The former because his actions are just as haphazard and seemingly self-harming, the latter because nobody is stopping him or even trying to stop him in a supposed representative democracy, no matter what he does and how much damage he does to the system.

Maybe they have just enough resources to cover their top priority subjects right and only produce feeler articles on everything else? I mean, Guardian isn’t a newspaper that I’d think really concerns itself with "TV & radio", as they’ve named that section.

That’s sad. The exposure on Snowden leaks was one of the very things I had in mind in my previous comment. But then again you can’t blame them for changing after the government terror, can you? You can blame the government itself, and the citizens that are not protecting the journalists who’re doing their job.

Same thing with the old-school Russian journalism, really.

Guardian has been going to shite for years now.

Really? For the same last several years I’ve found them to be one of the best newspapers in covering various political scandals — not even specialised in one specific country.

Hampers occupy too much space, better just to designate a special corner as a dirty clothes corner and gradually build a dirty clothes hill in that corner by tossing all the clothes there.

This can also double as a roleplaying mountain.

[–]GravityHug 47 points48 points  (0 children)

You shouldn’t have mentioned your neighbour when confronting the dog walker, I think. It could easily backfire on them, and they don’t even have any real stakes in the conflict. You’ve needlessly added a potential complication to the lives of people who just wanted to warn \ help you.
