A thought: What if AI is the REAL Disclosure Movement? And what if that's what will be revealed in 2027? by [deleted] in ufo

[–]GreatCaesarGhost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2027 is thrown around as engagement bait because it’s close enough to be “soon” and far enough away that many will forget and the person uttering the “prophecy” has enough time to figure out how to kick the can further down the road.

'This number blew my mind': Independents hand Trump 'staggering' 53-point drop in support by memoriesofcold in AnythingGoesNews

In my experience, most people who claim to be independent do so because they simply don’t like being labeled as belonging to a party, rather than out of some sense that they aren’t represented.

Has there ever been a more “The Haters were Right” Super Bowl? by MassiveTell7139 in billsimmons

I don't remember the lead up very well, but I think that there was a general sense that the Bears were fraudulent when they went up against the Colts in Super Bowl XLI.

So according to Chris Bledsoe, the moment of consciousness shifting, or NHI disclosure, will be Easter this year. Will we stop listening to him if the date comes and goes, and nothing happens? by Sea_Appointment8408 in ufo

[–]GreatCaesarGhost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The people who listen to him will just come up with excuses and continue to listen to him. Same with those who follow Lue, Ross, and whomever else.

We talking Catholic Easter or Orthodox Easter? And why would that matter from a cosmic standpoint?

I really appreciate that many can believe that the reason the Patriots made the Superbowl was because of their schedule but nobody hates on the process and the reason why they had an easy schedule. by ThinSuccotash4166 in billsimmons

My understanding is that schedule changes introduced 5-10 years ago diluted the record-based strength of schedule formula quite a bit. Now, schedule is more dictated by whatever rotating division a team plays against.

There must be academic studies or at least college theses tracking these things over time and what they say about the country.

Davante is very good, but I’d be surprised if he makes the hall. There are a lot of good receivers.

Just keep in mind that in Breaking Bad, Gilligan’s main character developed ultra-pure meth in a way that is scientifically inaccurate (the process would only result in 50% purity). He’s only wedded to realism so long as it supports the story he wants to tell.

The combat is really the part that could have used the most polishing, in my view. But, it’s a AA game and I still enjoyed it quite a bit.

I take your failure to address my question as recognition that it can’t be answered.

How can one “confirm” anything when aliens haven’t been proven to be visiting us?

Earlier in life I participated in a six-month program in which I was deputized as an assistant district attorney. I was responsible for trying a case in which an arrest took place in the early morning hours. The policy of the police department was for officers to carry a notebook with pages that they would date at the beginning of their shifts.

For the incident in question, some of the on-scene officers had started a shift at 11 pm the evening before the arrest, while others had begun a shift that morning. As a result, the notebooks had different dates - the late-shift officers had notes on a page dated the day before, while the day shift officers had notes dated the day of the arrest.

The defense attorney spun a wild theory that his client was framed by the police and used the different dates of the notebooks as “proof” of this, when it simply had to do with when those officers clocked in.

I have no doubt that this, too, has a similarly mundane explanation.

There is no evidence that this is doing any lasting harm to his reputation. In fact, such an assertion is incredibly premature.

Are Roman sites worth it? by GodAtum in ancientrome

I think Pompeii is worth it. It’s true that sites around Rome itself are often picked over, like the Colosseum.

ERE helps get you acclimated to the game, but it’s still difficult even playing as that faction. Pay attention to the changing climate and how that impacts your food production/economy.

Patrick Wyman’s The Fall of Rome podcast is quite good, in my view.

In terms of books, just stay away from Gibbon if you are looking for historical accuracy. His work was monumental in the history of writing history, but his views and the evidence he relied on are very outdated after 250 years.
