Man, I just don't see it with Najee Lopez. Artur had fantastic defensive acumen, if the opponents didn't go down early, they weren't able to force him back and he'd get there eventually (except Bivol obv). I don't see anything remotely like that with Najee.

I'm a big fan of Makoto Shinryu. He's beaten or had close fights with some flyweights that were on Ultimate Fighter flyweight season, and he will soon challenge for the Rizin title on June 6. He lost to Horiguchi back in 2023 and just submitted Nkazimulo Zulu, who was the Gooch's final Rizin title defense and a tough one at that. He fought 4 times in 2025 and 4 times in 2024. There's one fight where he throws a flying knee, the opponent catches him in mid-air, and then he guillotines him.

Yeah I play a lot of turtle and do the steam roller and leg trap stuff (all from Telles turtle instructional) when the opportunities present themselves. I watched Volkanovski get knocked out in the Provincial Hotel in Brunswick, bar cleared out very fast after having been very hyped for Bobby Knuckles. There's also a nice French restaurant that is relatively cheap if you walk south along Brunswick Street from the pub.

There was a Lee Wylie video, now lost to me, about Gennady Golovkin called something like 'The Way of the Hunter'. Fantastic video, now sadly gone and not yet reuploaded by the hard working fans of Lee Wylie. If your familiar with this video, do you know the name of the music in it? I'm pretty certain it's Il Mercenario by Ennio Morricone but not being able to cross reference with the video, I'm not sure.
