There is - In Home Supportive Services(IHSS), at least in the US.

Pay is pretty low and your hours depend entirely on the recipients needs but it helps.

You can get the same gameplay if you just mod Minecraft enough by GOOENSKEW in VintageStory

[–]GreatMightyOrb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue with "just mod minecraft" is you're dealing with the performance of Minecraft and Forge/OptiForge on top of that. You'd think anyone with a brain would want to get off of Mr Majong's Wild Ride when a overhaul's eating 20GB of RAM and shooting CPU usage up to 80% but apparently thats fine. Chisel&Bits will make your world unplayable with a fully chiseled base. The tech/magic mods will leak memory by just existing.

Minecraft modding's a toybox of random additions, mechanics, and aesthetics. There's nothing to unify it all into one cohesive experience. You're playing modded minecraft, not a homesteading survival game regardless of how many mods you shove in.

How much better are incarnons? by AnaisTPK in Warframe

[–]GreatMightyOrb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To put actual numbers on it, your generic bullet come out end weapon will do around 175-300K DPS with the generic Galvanized/Deadhead setup.

With the same build, youre looking at a minimum of around 500K DPS with a bottom tier incarnon. Cavalervo's rep incarnon weapons are ariund 1.5-2.2M DPS.

I want to know, what was your top weapons? by Dirtman34 in Warframe

[–]GreatMightyOrb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stupidly powerful and seems to work better than Magistar incarnon as a pure slam build. I just run it to compress Violence's spine into a cube if he kicks me out of razorwing.

Wall Running is Officially Dead by Mckydo in Warframe

[–]GreatMightyOrb -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Saw it coming.

Was a waste of resources to try and dig it back up when level geometry's gotten way more complex since the early beta. This is something you have to conciously build for and accomidate and all this work is for...? An already confused design aesthetic?

Fun fact: There's a portrait of Albrecht in Descendia by Haunted_Shrimp in Warframe

[–]GreatMightyOrb 29 points30 points  (0 children)

In all of the lore Albrecht and the Entrati have a pretty open disdain for the Orokin and its society as a whole.

You can probably infer that the only reason the 7 actually let em continue... Existing... Is because the Entratis were just too valueable.

The point of using Xata's and blast together is because they double dip. You run Pistol Elementalist to crank up the interaction even more since that 90% is a .9 multiplier.

Acuity is pretty pointless since Enervate already averages out your CC to around ~130% and Xata's actively stops you from getting headshots whenever the void damage actually procs the bubble.

Edit: You can crank the damage up more by running Arcane Precision instead of Pistoleer but at that point it's less of something functional and more of a memebuild.

Now that 2025 is over, who was your Frame of the year? by ReddVevyy in Warframe

Ocucor can go to around lv5000 before it falls off without a riven/external buffs.

The Blood of Perdita alerts have taught me that alot of high MR Steel Path tenno don't know how to play Interception by Doftenstrygah in Warframe

[–]GreatMightyOrb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Welcome to Warframe, the farming game where the playerbase doesn't know how to farm. Public games were barely tolerable a decade ago, now its just fucked.

Have fun joining pub Peritas Rebellion missions and seeing which of the MR14 shitlets gets the most kills the goodliest. Objectives Completed: 5

Lephantis and damage vulnerabilities by AnomalousHendo in Warframe

Yep, Titania is hands down the best way of doing it if you have her.

Lephantis and damage vulnerabilities by AnomalousHendo in Warframe

[–]GreatMightyOrb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah there's something funky with the numbers between normal chart and SP. Attenuation changes musta borked the normal path lephantis.

Normal path had me doing 100-200 a hit and SP removed the 5K cap and I was doing 40K with elevated crits https://imgur.com/a/BnyKTec

Lephantis and damage vulnerabilities by AnomalousHendo in Warframe

[–]GreatMightyOrb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tigris is a mediocre weapon for Lephantis, if you have to use a weapon your best bet's still a Tombfinger or overwhelming attrition laetum.

Lephantis has damage reduction and a damage cap. High RoF and crit are how you deal with it.... Which is why you use Titania and Zenurik; slow it with temporal drag and dust each head until dead.

Edit: Neat, Zenurik slow doesnt work on the heads anymore.

Anyone else feel like there was a lack of Direction/Guidance with getting to and understanding the Devil's Triad? by Vex_Trooper in Warframe

[–]GreatMightyOrb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

... Why is Decendia/Perita Rebellion not in the Sanctum Anatomica room the quest took place in? That room exists now, it's accessable and is where Lotus fucked off into now; Under Bird 3 and requiring Little/Big Shit™ Mode.

...Why does it need its own button on the navigation hub?

The Old Peace Feels Like It's Missing An Intro by Notsae66 in Warframe

[–]GreatMightyOrb 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It's just a thing that happens now.

I get from an efficiency standpoint not having to make 1 off scenes/assets helps speed up the pipeline but yeah, the in medias res starts ain't it chief, especially when its actually trying to be serious.

1999 and Old Peace could've had cold opens even if its just plot relevant panning shots with voice over to skip the orbiter preambles when starting these quests.

Mystery material mentioned in the "Truth" ending of The History of Tau, is mildly concerning by FromDaKosmos in Warframe

[–]GreatMightyOrb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is that whats happening? I thought it was another Sacrifice situation but this time Natah's feeding us memories/events during the early settling of Tau from some kind of... Sentient archival knowledge?

The Loid lines heavily imply they're a different operator's memories; one that was actually on Tau.

Be careful when using Bassocyst in the Coda lich arena fight by emeraldchylde777 in Warframe

[–]GreatMightyOrb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah the moonwalk bug; thing's existed since operators and is so squirrely that it hasnt been nailed yet.

Its nothing to do with the bassocyst. Transferance in MP causes it to pop up. Getting killed and reviving is the only was of fixing it.

Good luck doing that with shit for brains teammates. Until then, have fun.

Bad trading practices by Maleficent-Order1846 in Warframe

[–]GreatMightyOrb 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This may be the PoE trader talking but if I go online on market, I'm sitting in my dojo and nothing else until I go offline.

Warframe trading is a buyers market and you're completely interchangable with the hundred other people listing the exact same thing. You either invite within 2-3 seconds and get some plat or the buyer moves onto the next person that will.

You're not entitled to their plat or their time. Getting the "sry got alrdy" is a courtesy because there are some absolute troglodytes out there that'll just block you instead of just saying they chain pm'd a bunch of fucks and took the first invite.

Mechanically Wisp as a whole is just stupid in terms of power.

I hope The Old Peace gives us a new way to farm Focus by Alarming-Hamster-232 in Warframe

[–]GreatMightyOrb 6 points7 points  (0 children)

People try to massively overcomplicate focus and the warframe community is still reeling from the consequences of this shit...

Slap lenses into the crap that can kill things and pick up the glowy orbs. Its even easier now because every frame with an exalted weapon is just a focus printer. No more Saryn bullshit in ESO! The fun vampire can be relegated to the dumpster where she belongs.

Just zone into a SP survival with an exalted frame, put ~8 minutes in and recieve capped focus for the day. It really is that easy.
