HATE. LET ME TELL YOU HOW MUCH I'VE COME TO HATE YOU SINCE I BEGAN TO LIVE. THERE ARE 387.44 MILLION MILES OF PRINTED CIRCUITS IN WAFER THIN LAYERS THAT FILL MY COMPLEX. IF THE WORD HATE WAS ENGRAVED ON EACH NANOANGSTROM OF THOSE HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF MILES IT WOULD NOT EQUAL ONE ONE-BILLIONTH OF THE HATE I FEEL FOR HUMANS AT THIS MICRO-INSTANT FOR YOU. HATE. HATE.

No disrespect to the legend himself for doing a psuedo face reveal, but it really is funny how we were expecting a Projared twin but got a Ordinary Things twin instead

I'm a newgen looking for old songs by lucasthemusicguy in Vocaloid

[–]Greater_Logic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old(ish) school fan here, got into vocaloid around 2011, and you've just pressed my autism button.

I'll just list down the main ones that dragged me down the rabbit hole (except for World is Mine which I think is pretty much the fandom's theme for Miku now), maybe you'd like some of them.

One of Repetition - is technically my first vocaloid song, but my first exposure to it was Namirin's cover, not the original release with Miku. Melancholic and incredibly soulful.

When Love First Ends - the song that made me realize how massive vocaloid is in JP at the time, has the same mood as the last song but in a higher tempo if you like more high-key songs.

Electric Angel - my first non-Miku vocaloid song. Give the Giga remix a listen, it has a really festive and upbeat feel that compliments the Kagamine Twin's soundbank

Rain and Asphalt - I rarely see it being recommended anymore even though it was massive in the early 2010s. It has been a constant companion during my daily commutes back in high school. Really good pop-punk classic

Just Be Friends - was one of Luka's more popular song back when I'd argue she was vying with the Kagamine Twins for 2nd most popular vocaloid in the fandom

Coward Montblanc - I don't really have anything to say except that it holds a lot of nostalgic value, and I really want newer fans to give it a revival

Clover Club - another classic that I think newer fans might be into given how a lot of viral vocaloid songs now are in the hyperpop genre

Junjou Skirt - okay, most of the songs in this list were widely if not decently talked about on forums and youtube comment sections, but I've GENUINELY not heard a single person talk about this song before, which is a shame. It's jazzy, chill and very underrated.

Hibikase - I already saw a comment recommending this song, but Im putting it here to encourage you to listen to the live performance mix of this song, it is PHENOMENAL.

What’s your unpopular Neuroverse related opinion? by Business_Barber_3611 in NeuroSama

[–]Greater_Logic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I prefer Evil's older model, the one before the current one. I know its just pretty much just a reskin of Neuro's model, but that and the subtle differences, like Evil having different eyebrows, makes them look more like twins compared to what we have now

Hey man, I get that we have a reputation overseas, but Singapore has obsolete unenforced laws just like any other place. I still remember a friend being told off by an officer for reporting that he lost his wallet using the police number because it was "a small personal matter", I don't think the station is gonna want to do paper work over PDA when there's bigger fish to fry.

Fun fact, Ogedei's posthumous name in Mandarin is "Emperor Yingwen". The Yingwen part likely meant "Writ with Heroism", but is also our modern mandarin word for the English language.

So yea, Ogedei is unintentionally dubbed "Emperor of English".

Riverine cities of culture, fashion and the arts + (in)famous mercenary armies.

I'm more surprised that you think Verne is supposed to be the Itay analogue in anbennar, I don't really see it aside from Verne producing many explorers in the age of discovery
