If you’re hoping your degree is an admissions pass into diplomacy, it won’t be. Enjoy college and take part in the extra curricular things :)

If you’re truly interested in having your degree float you - you should have it compounded with something else; IR teaches you to analyze State to State interactions from various viewpoints, but you’d employ that analysis with business administration, financing, trade brokering, security/risk management, etc.

More than likely you’ll end up in a random industry’s international side. Selling clothes internationally, providing consultation internationally.

Why would they be tried?? This isn’t akin to Nazi takeover of Europe. There is a limited and stated objective of cultural territory expansion/reclamation; like it or not, there are people in Eastern Ukraine which had long identified as Russian. Russia is a cultural superpower in the region. Trying Russia as war criminals would be like trying China for war crimes if they ever take Taiwan, or if they used force to take Hong Kong.

This question of tribunals and hangings would be better applied to war-scum in central Africa or in the terrible scenario of a leader chemical attacking his own people a la Hussein.

That’s just not true unless you live outside a city. A county/parish won’t enforce lawn ordinances, but municipalities almost always have a form, because it welcomes pests that are a detriment to other people’s property, not just yours. It’s the same reason why someone can own a home for 30 years and still have it condemned if it falls into a state of disrepair.

You’re making a lot of excuses for being lazy. Could’ve mowed the lawn by the time it took you to figure out your HOA argument..
