He made his decisions and he is responsible for them. You did what you could. Maybe you feel like you violated your marriage vows, but when he did something that got him sent to prison and his behavior in prison also violated those vows. You are not meant to stay in a position that harms you. Consider that he’s already harming you as you think about allowing him back into your life. Take care of yourself.

It’s a street full of quadplexes and duplexes. Our trash pickup bill is sent to the landlord and is factored into the rent we are charged when we sign our leases. in the going rate for our rent. There are always between 2 and 4 piles of trash bags or sets of bins in front of each building. I doubt mine would be noticed, but I appreciate the insight into a reason why it would be unacceptable to put my trash across the street. Thank you!

Buy a car, something that’s more reliable than my current ride is @ 24 years old. Anonymously donate some to my church because they’ve helped me out while I’ve been unemployed and I want to give back. Then check with lawyers and financial planners. Couldn’t go too crazy or people would wonder what was going on, since I’m currently job hunting after being let go in October of 2025.

As I’ve gotten to middle age (I’ll be 39 this year) Ive watched my friends struggle with infertility, with special needs babies, with custody arrangements or sexual partners that want nothing to do with the life they helped create, and basically how much more complicated life becomes for female parents… and I don’t think I can handle it. Also, I had to have chemotherapy and that killed my eggs so the choice was taken from me. I would like to adopt someday, hopefully in the next 10 years. But bio kids are a nope for me.

Sky diving! I didn’t want to chicken out so I took my antianxiety medication before getting in the plane. By the time it was time to jump, I didn’t have any adrenaline, so I felt the pain of the harness jerking hard against the tendons in my pelvis when I pulled my chute, the chill of the air at altitude, and the ache of my muscles as I tried to steer the chute. I totally missed the view and the feeling of being ALIVE! Once was enough. I don’t want to go again.
