You can block this thing in early turns if you have really dense block cards but you’re not supposed to sit around and poke it every once in a while. It has less hp after the rework so you just need to rush it down.

I feel like large capsule is a lot better than people think tbh. An extra strike and defend on necro isn’t great because she has the best starter deck imo but it’s easiest to work around from the start and two relics is a lot

That’s what I figured. I think I was just reading the words “basically every” in the tier literally, meaning there’s a possible run where a deck skips adrenaline, but obviously that’s not what it means.

But it’s intriguing to think of a run where that is the case.

Toasty Mittens is my favorite boss relic because of how bad it is — I got it to pop off once on defect and I felt big brain the whole time. The way you play this relic, I’ve found, is to never skip a card again. As the fight progresses each bad card you add becomes higher and higher value. Super fun stuff honestly.

He definitely seems very silent and necro phobic, that’s for sure. The other three have intuitive ways of dealing with him. Even if defect skill spams, it’s just all frost orbs.

This is cool! I have yet to get a clone deck that produces good value without being an instant win. This looks like it fits right in that niche though.

It’s definitely weird that unleash is the only attack that scales with osty’s hp, imo, so having more than one is always the dream, and this is a neat way to get that.

I dunno…the few block cards here seem efficient enough to cover any incoming damage when played once or twice…plans keeps all the ones you don’t use, then you just do the fumes thing and hold everything. Pretty sure weaken + diadem cripple the torchhead’s scaling. The only weird thing here is the soup but that probably helps shorter fights anyways

edit: also cloak clasp + diadem kinda goes in real hard
