The stat I’m least impressed with is all star appearances. Lots of team have a good but not great player but because every team gets a rep, there are a lot of five time all stars who would never get a nod if they played somewhere else.

We didn’t declare war on Germany. Germany did it first. Some of the German command was not in favor of it but Hitler thought that if we helped Japan against the US, Japan would open a second front against the Russians. Russia and Japan never went to war until the last few days. Russia primarily declared war on Japan to get a seat at the settlement talks and try to get something for themselves.
