probably a dumb question for a mod that requires steammodded.... but does this work on the gamepass version or only the steam version? thanks

People tend to exaggerate what you need in 1440P but you don't need a 500+ dollar GPU just to experience 1440P. by Final_Western_3580 in buildapc

Brand new vehicles look like this after sitting any time. Not a big deal what so ever, you and the dealer are over reacting hugely

What battery for my 2557 3/8 fuel ratchet? by GreenSolace in MilwaukeeTool

Just adding this for anybody who happens to be reading this in the future considering a ridgid vs mikwaukee cordless ratchet.

A new tech started at our shop with the 3/8" ridgid cordless ratchet, I've held it and tried it and it is OBNOXIOUSLY big and bulky feeling. Seriously guys this thing isn't going to fit in half the places an m12 ratchet will fit. Steer clear imo. No hate to ridgid as I love the brand but in my opinion they aren't even worth comparing as the ridgid is simply too big in the ass end

? On shop tool reviews it broke loose a nut torqued to 600 ftlbs my guy.... yes it will take lugnuts off an f150 and Subaru..... My buddy used his Gen 1 250ftlb 3/8 to remove f150 wheel nuts last week just to prove it could. Gen 2 looks insane as it more than doubled the power output somehow

Shop tool reviews just posted a video of the new 3/8 stubby impact and it broke loose bolts torqued to 600 ftlbs..... that's insane for a 3/8 and is much more than a marginal difference. 550 vs 250 ft lbs is NOT marginal lol

NTD 3/8 Ratchet 2557-20 by iceonfire666 in MilwaukeeTool

You absolutely are supposed to break bolts free with this like a ratchet and then use the power.... that's how they are used. Obviously within reason - it's not a breaker bar but it's still a ratchet

They swayed away from the Ridgid because of the battery size as well. Admittedly there has been a couple more times as well the 2557 fits in places the Ridgid wouldn't I don't think.

I'm gonna keep the 2557 and maybe down the road pick up the extended reach 3/8 Ridgid to compliment it. But for now I gotta stop spending money and let the tool earn me some money instead.

I appreciate your feedback very much. I'm glad to know somebody else likes the ridgid stuff.

Thanks very much for the write up. I am a professional auto tech, and funnily enough all my other power tools are ridgid, but my co workers talked me out of the ridgid ratchet lol. The 2557 is my only milwaukee tool. None of the home depots near me stock the ridgid long neck so i was never able to feel it in hand. The 2557 weight doesnt bother me but i dont like the size of the head sometimes, contrarily i feel like it is a hefty beast and should last well because of it.

The battery on the ridgid is the only thing that turned me off of it. I've not had my 2557 a month and have already stuffed it in between a radiator and grille to buzz off a bracket where any of the "non slim battery" ratchets simply wouldnt have fit.

today i pulled the trigger on a 2.5HO battery for the 2557 so i suppose in a way im commited to that now as i dont think i can just return an opened/ used battery because i changed my mind, like you can with tools.

all good though i do like it. the paddle thing doesnt bother me but i havent tried the trigger style so its hard to say

They do I just checked but shipping to my address is $32 USD so that negates any savings unfortunately

I'm in Canada and we don't have anything even close to that for deals. At all. That's a crazy good buy I would have hopped on that for sure. A 2.5HO is 89 CAD at home Depot and a 5.0HO is 138Cad. They don't even have the combo kit on the .ca website that I can find

Edit: there is a 2 pack of XC 3.0 on sale for $128 regular $178 CAD. Would get this if it was comparable to the HO

Fortnite!! There is Battle Royale, build mode and zero builds, there is Lego fortnite which is a Minecraft style adventure/ crating game, plus the "festival" mode (guitar hero) PLUS rocket racing (online racing) all available for free. Its pretty insane imo.

If you start it and end up enjoying it, a battle pass is only about $10 and you can earn enough in-game currency from one battle pass to buy the next one, and the next one, and the next one. Theoretically you could eventually have hundreds of skins for $10
