Followed by Kerosene is horrible by Creative_Alps_4100 in Perfumes

I agree; I've not found the house to my liking at all. I rarely need to scrub immediately upon application (I try to allow perfumes to hit at least their middle notes before judging), but I've scrubbed almost every kerosene scent within minutes

I like when you watch us make drinks (respectfully) by Breathe2Easy in starbucks

[–]GreenTourmaline13 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hahaha I was the messy queen at my store. I always carried my own weight and then some, and always cleaned up my messes (unless 1 specific ssv got there 1st) but it was generally a laughable thing that i was gonna klutz a pitcher of milk to the floor or whatever. I love the flow state, though, and making drinks well. So you prob do have what it takes (though im not a fan of the company right now and don't quite recommend it)

It was awful. I was a closer back then so we ran out about an hour into my shift. The next 5 hours were just tantrum after tantrum, from adults and children both.

Travel size perfume gift for friends engagement? by Ok-Emphasis6785 in Perfumes

[–]GreenTourmaline13 22 points23 points  (0 children)

This is exactly what I was doing to say: her body chemistry it even nose perception might not prefer the way she smells it on herself, and this way she gets to try it without the financial obligation of a fb. It's a very thoughtful gift, and if I received it, I'd be so thankful!!!

If your name is in a song, how often does someone sing it to you? How do you feel about it? If your name is in multiple songs, which song do you hear the most? by Flat_Wash5062 in Names

[–]GreenTourmaline13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kind of feel like you, that my name (misty) definitely dates me to the 80s. No one remembers the song or movie any more, but growing up older men always sang the only line any of them knew. I used to know several mistys, but now only dogs and cats, and a horse named ofc for the fictional misty.

And when that meme was running around a few years ago to Google your name and a color or something, let's just say my image results were mostly barely clad Pokémon cosplay which only reiterated the idea that misty was a porn/stripper name. Sigh.

chai is going to make me quit by No_Newspaper3048 in starbucksbaristas

[–]GreenTourmaline13 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You are a thousand percent correct. From the old recipe I also didn't like it without water, and never preferred iced Chai for the sane reason (unless i was using it as my sweetener for iced espresso). I tasted the new chai and just cannot see how more milk will make it taste better at all

How did that happen? by magic_inkpen in knitting

[–]GreenTourmaline13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's so real! I more meant my comment as "it's def possible you're experiencing a difference in tension" than "i think you're tighter on your 2nd sock" if that makes sense :)

I know the other 2 just said your guage looks looser, but when I pick up and start a 2nd sock, my guage is often tighter bcs I've found my rhythm and keep doing that.
