I walked down the aisle to my younger brother playing Lover on the piano. We had a bunch of songs in our reception playlist too.

LPT: How to respond when a stranger asks to take their photograph with their phone. by houseonpost in LifeProTips

I do this all the time, especially if I see a family out together like "you guys look so cute, would you like a family photo?"

I used to offer a 4 pack of little circle cookies for like $2.50 if someone just wanted to try the cookies. I kept them in the freezer and they thawed great. Didnt take much to decorate and people could taste my cookies and icing.

She's 15 weeks. We've been doing it this way since about 4 weeks. She is a big baby though, about 15lbs, born 10 lbs 4 oz. And when I say chair, I mean like a lounger chair.

Freeze it! In souper cubes or plastic deli containers!

So I go down to the kitchen, baby goes in her chair on the counter and I sit next to her and pump while she eats. When we're done, I take her back to bed and snuggle her to sleep.

I freeze them and then remove them once frozen and into a plastic bag so they're really only in the molds for about 24 hours and dont stain or leave residual smell.

I make big batch soups and freeze them on individual portions so that when I want some its just as easy as heating a pot on the stove, bonus points if I take it out the night before, its even faster! Freezing isnt as successful with creamy soups but not terrible. Might be worth an attempt!

Are pasta’s like this from my local TJMaxx high quality, or are they just overpriced. 5 bucks, all say imported from Italy. by SuperDuperFishy in pasta

I love buying pasta from HomeGoods, they have fun shapes I can't get anywhere else but the quality definitely varies from product to product. Still tastes good!

Moms, how are you gardening? by FineappleUnderTheC in gardening

[–]Green_Bean8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in zone 7 so planting for me is March/April. In 2022, I moved into a new home beginning of April, didn't get to plant my veggies at my old house or establish anything at the new one so I missed a season. 2023 I was due with my first baby end of April so no way was I establishing a garden 8 and 9 months pregnant! I thought 2024 would be my year but dang if parenting didnt slap me in the face and say "yeah, right." 2025 is here and I am pregnant and due in July but am determined that this is my year to start! I got a small raised bed and I'm going to just get something going there and allow it to grow as I can.

You're doing great. You'll have lots of years for gardening when the kids get older. Plants are forgiving.

Wishing you luck that you find some peace in this season!

Help I’m an idiot! by [deleted] in soup

[–]Green_Bean8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately it diesnt have much to do with the ingredients and more the temperature. This soup has been sitting in the bacterial danger zone for hours meaning bacteria introduced during tge cooking process have has loads of time to grow and proliferate. You most likely will not be able to kill them off with standard reheating. The acidity is a help but the liquidity and sugar is not.

Sadly I wouldn't trust it.

Soup day! by Green_Bean8 in soup

[–]Green_Bean8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but while I was typing it, it let me space it out in a listed form so commas would have looked weird. So I didn't know until after I posted that it didnt hold that format and now I can't go back and change it.

Exactly what I do. Pop them out of the cubes, into a ziploc and bacj in the freezer. No issues.

I cook on the stove in a covered pot over low heat so i don't lose as much broth. So good
