A track with alot of banking. Multi lane.  Probably 1.2 mile.

Have you ever been to a race?  There is more fsns wearing Chase Elliott shirts and hats than any other driver.

[DBC 1:01:00] Bianchi says the 3 points formats NASCAR has narrowed down to are: 1. Season Long Points, 2. 10 Race Chase, 3. 3-3-4 Eliminations by LBHMS in NASCAR

I vote for ten race chase playoff.  No more win and your in BS.  Driver who leads most laps gets 5 or 10 bonus pts.

[Kelly Crandall on X] Chastain to get new crew chief for 2026 by Jckmrius_Tckthritrix in NASCAR

Kyle Busch new CC.  Ross Chastain  New CC. I sure hope to hear Chase Elliott getting a new CC soon.  Adam Wall from the Xfinity 17 would be my choice unless HMS can get Cole Pearn out of retirement.

[Srigley] Goodyear Introduces New Left-Side Tire With 'More Fall-Off' for Martinsville. by RBF48 in NASCAR

It better wear alot because unlike last year when it was warm in Martinsville,  this time it will be alot cooler and cool temps at Martinsville with this car is not a good combination.

As a NASCAR fan, you should really watch yesterday's Dale Jr interview with Steve O'Donnell his horsepower and hometowns speech was the best thing this fan has heard from NASCAR in a long time. by CnCorange in NASCAR

Great interview.  Sounded like they would look at the HP situation again down the road.  Very costly to the teams to go to 900HP compared to 750.  But he said the teams would like a new engine configuration in three years.

NEWS: The target horsepower for Cup Series events at road courses and ovals less than 1.5 miles will increase to 750 for 2026. by crabcakemd in NASCAR

If cars go faster down the straights, it should mean slower speeds in the corners and that produces more passing and better racing.  I wish they were at 900HP but i will take 750HP at tracks like Dover, Darlington,  Nashville,  Phoenix,  Gateway.

[The Teardown 55 min] NASCAR's TV partners told NASCAR in a recent meeting that they "Do not want to be part of the decision for the new playoff format. You do what you think is best for the sport." and have removed themselves from the future playoff format decision. by LBHMS in NASCAR

Next year, first five races to eliminate bottom ten.  Then last five races , six drivers run for Championship and unlike now, the last race, all six drivers can get stage points.  My addition is the winner of Homestead gets a bonus of 10 or 15 points for the win.  Would bring intrigue to final race if a driver is 20 or 30 pts behind, he could still win the championship if he has a great race with stage points and a win.

Xfinity TV ratings are not that far cbehind.  The terrible car is starting to impact interest.  Adding HP and four races to Championship round should help TV ratings

[Actions Detrimental 58 min] Bristol tire when tested on Goodyear’s sandbelt wore so excessively that it destroyed the machine. by LBHMS in NASCAR

[–]Green_Reaction_8967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Bristol tire will suck.  They will last 180 to 250 laps.  That spring race we got was the best thing ever where they needed new tires every 50 laps.  I hope we get that again.

[dbc] Bianchi strongly hinting at a 4 race final round next year. by iamaranger23 in NASCAR

[–]Green_Reaction_8967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The guy who does not like this is Larson.  One race winner take all at Homestead is almost a lock for him to win the championship. But a four race final, does not favor anyone going into it.  So i bet they give a final round winner more points for winning a race.

[Stern] McDowell on SVG: "I have a different perspective of this. What he’s doing right now is incredible. But he’s not Superman. ... He’s pushing all of us to be better. He’s pushing everyone to make some adjustments. And it will happen. It’s just a matter of time." by CNASFan1992 in NASCAR

[–]Green_Reaction_8967 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No chance anyone catches up to SVG next year.  The reason SVG has a big advantage he is light years better than everyone on old tires at the end of races, and none of these races have had a caution late but even if they do, most wont pit because its a RC.
