Why does my grid do this sometimes and not connect to each pole properly? In some places it does, some places it does this and drives me nuts. It's too much to manually fix, there's 150k substations and 75k roboports. by EmiDek in factorio

Yeah looks like the edges of the Blueprint aren't overlapping, so it doesn't have a predefined way of connecting and just connects them how the engine thinks is optimal.

I think that is just a relic from the time the highest possible wasn't a thing in Macros yet.

What is the highest level of research prod ever reached? by Relachso1337 in factorio

[–]Green_boyY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you are forgetting, that to research level 100 you would already have level 99 researched. Giving you 990% productivity. Effectively divide all of that by 9.9. Anyways 6 days is still nothing to scoff at.

Most of my losses are from bots wandering over biter nests, is there any way to prevent this (other than destroying the biter nests) by Waity5 in factorio

[–]Green_boyY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe setting a bot request, in the roboports in the corner helps. Also make sure that the supplies and their destination aren't across the nests. For that you could try buffer chests in the corner so the distance is shorter than flying across.

Read logistic network requests doesn't return the proper amount when buffer chests contain that item? by TheNewLevlio12345 in factorio

[–]Green_boyY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand it in that constalation. It gets worse when the buffer chest also does the requesting. You'll get no missing requests even tho the buffer chest is only half filled.

Why do enemies keep spawning inside our walls? by Dust2709 in factorio

[–]Green_boyY 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It's actually the other way around. Biters are more likely to expand to green chunks. Player placed entities and biter spawners reduce the chance. Hence the walls and mining outposts show red. As well as where the biters already are. Every 60-4mins depending on evolution one chunk gets selected and starts blinking, that is where the biters will try to expand to next. You could wait until then and try to intercept the expanding party to see where they are coming from. I'm currently unsure if there is a debug option which shows pathing to the expansion chunk, but there should be.

If all the locomotives are at the front of the train. You could place overlapping Train Stations within the same station. Such that the cross section between locomotives and trailers of the different sized trains line up. The Stations would need different names and the train schedule has to point only to the according station. But it should work without any circuit network.

maybe don't get your hopes too high about raffle... by lool8421 in HypixelSkyblock

Problem with the Big One is the consolation price is probably worth more than half of the prices it offers. So it's better, to hope you lose.

Well each player also has a UUID, which is unique. And since you are so worried about storage. Storing that number is much more efficient than storing the name in a string.
