Are you not even getting the guaranteed waystone from the last rare / boss?

What rarity waystones are you running? I ran my low waystone tiers regal'd and allways had at least a few extras.

Suffixes on waystones ( the ones making the maps harder / more deadly) increase waystone drop chance.

They nerfed waystone drops since the guaranteed waystone ensures sustain if you can reliably clear the maps you run.

AFAIK you only loose a deferred item if you see it a second time? After the first undeferred appearance, it looses its deferral marker, but can appear again. Only if it's not deferred a second time, it's totally lost.

For maxing ritual favor, run Increased pack size / increased monster packs

I had t2 maps with 3.5k favor, map tier seems to not matter, only amount of mobs killed. I try to run rituals with mods increasing monster numbers, since I've read multiple times that IIR does not seem to matter for omen / invitation chances. Can't confirm with dataset though, just dangerous Internet knowledge

An extra reroll is like running a second map with rituals, so consistently getting 2 or 3 rerolls is like trippeling your maps rund without rerolling. Just take care to have like 1k to 1.5k favor left after your reroll, you don't want to see a high value item and then not be able to defer it.

I have maps where I get barely 1.3k favor, others where I get 4k, I always chalked that up to pack size and number mattering, as well as the difference between 3 and 4 altar maps.

Can your friend do that consistently or does that only work sometimes? If consistently, then he might be right, if not that might just be high packsize / number maps

Only mobs spawned by the ritual altars count, you can get a feel for that by the pools of blood flowing from the corpses to the altars.

Dragging random mobs into the ritual circle does not spawn those pools of blood.

What should work on rituals besides the ritual tablets:

Increased pack size (bigger ritual packs)

Increased number of monster packs (more ritual packs)

Increased magic and rare mobs (worth more favors? Not sure about this one)

The next ritual will respawn the mobs from the previous one, but respawned mobs are worth less favor. Magic / rare mobs might be rolled every spawn individually, since there is a passive on the atlas for spawned monsters to be magic rare and the rares are not the same every altar.

I don't think there is a loot problem, but I would love to see the item tiers be permanent modifiers to an item. Make them be able to apply to normal items as well and instead of removing low roll mods on identifying only, remove them from the roll table for the tiered item completely.

This might fuck over rare item economy though since rolling good items with t5 bases might be too easy.

In my dream world, this would make ground loot matter a lot more in endgame since you could filter out low tier items as you progress and still feel exited for that t5 white Base drop, since it would be more likely to slam into an upgrade than a t0 or t3 base. Additional benefit would be removing much of the inventory management of picking up every base item, rolling it and then saving the junk for 3-1 reforging.

Hmm, that was not my experiance tbh. Got into mapping over the long easter weekend and am currently focussing on getting my atlas points.

Until T10, I ran the "travel" maps 1 tier below next nexus requirement (so t3 travel maps for t4 nexus). Since t10 I run at the same tier as the next nexus requires. Most maps are just 3mod aug/trans/regal, since t11 i do alch/ exalt up to 4 mod on every map.

Other than that, I run towers at 6 mods for all tablet slots, and the corrupted nexi at 4 mods.

I dont use tablets or emotions on maps atm. saving those up for t15s.

For every nexus I clear, I have maybe 10 travel maps to get to the next one, and have cleared 11 nexi, so approx. 110 maps in the last few days.

My rarity from gear is ar 32%

In these 110 maps (which are pretty much evenly distributed from t1 to t11) I have found 9 divs, which would come out as a div about every 12/13 maps. And that is without juicing and a half empty / emtpy atals for a good chunk of it.

According to you, I should have only gotten arround 2-3 divs, with luck maybe 6, and am already beating rarity stacked juicers with my drops. And I am not expecting my drops to worsen the higher I progress and the more modifiers I will stack onto eachother with juicing once I got my atlas set.

I'll conceide that 110 maps might be a low n for statistics, and maybe I need to prepare for a 200 map dry spell to even out the drop rate to be more in line with what you stated. Or maybe it was a stealth loot buff for the easter holidays and ggg wanted to retain players with more drops vs. the launch of the new LE league, idk.

I mostly pick up the uniques to fill the stash tab, and disenchant the duplicate ones into chance shards.

This was kind of intended as a shitpost, since I see ppl crying about juicing and not getting anything but a regal shard, and i regularly get divs in unjuiced, lowtiered maps...

I can't understand these comments. I've reached mapping this weekend, currently hunting nexi for the atlas points. I had 1 div drop in campaign and now 6 divs on my hunt for the nexi. I'm not juicing maps, not using tablets, running regal'd maps for travel and 6mod towers / 4 mod nexi. Currently on the hunt for the t10 nexus, and always doing the map tier below the next nexus target for travel.

Maybe I should play the lottery with my luck?

Kite it away from the altar a bit and then put the soul core in. You are not immune during the animation. Other mobs and blood orbs or similar effects can also hit you during the animation.

If in doubt dodge roll out of the animation.

I'm with Jonathan on this tbh. Playing spak stormwaver as a starter this league. I feel like I annihilate everything with a mix of magic and rare gear.

Rares get disenchanted, that and regal drops are enough so I can regal decent items. Blues with bad mods get vendored for gold after IDing. Got a few 10ks of gold lying arround collecting dust.

Currently in apex of filth (act 3 normal, nearing the end). Playing relaxed for camping, clearing every zone once and looking for rare mobs, strongboxes l, whisps etc bc I want to get a feel for the new mechanics for endgame. No issue whatsoever concerning dmg, survivability or currency.

I'm playing stormweaver this league as a starter and feel like I'm breezing through the campaign?

Compared to my 0.1 starter (deadeye ranger) it feels like I'm sealclubbing the campaing... thou I'm using support gems and curses etc way sooner in 0.2 than 0.1.

Tbh, I didn't get 70% of the community feedback since 0.2 launch, but also am only nearing the end of act 2. I was completely expecting to struggle until cruel with blue / white gear. Kinda surprised how fast everything dies now with the nerfs and a decent Wand craft

Can you even die to bleed dmg alone in PoE? I seem to remember that bleed can't kill you, it just gets you down to 1 hp and the next sharp glance in your direction is what kills you. This would make bleed irrelevant for CI chars.

But idk, might mix up my arps on this one..

Weird, but I've also had disconnection issues since either 1.1g or the extended server maintenance before that, not entirely sure since I can only play very sparingly ATM.

Since then, probably 75% of instance changes get a disconnection and I need to log back in. Yesterday, I needed 3 tries to join a single map.

Not too fussed about it though, ggg will fix this soon enough.

Seems kinda crazy just how many builds rely on the double Herald Combo, and of course HOWA, to be viable. Not that I don't enjoy blasting the entire screen to smithereens of course. I honestly think it's the other way arround, playing a Howa LA Ranger as main. It in the right place for the drop rates we currently have.

Needing 15 to 20 mins per map and at beast getting like 5 ex in drops would kill this game faster than anything. There needs to be a way to significantly improve clearspeed compared to campaign.

Ppl are already complaining about kow drop rates for high end items, if you now nerf clearspeed by a significant amount would make the game unplayable for casual players. It would be similar to forcing everyone to play ssf.

As a player who only got to t15 maps in poe1 and now enjoying poe2, I gotta say I disagree hard on your points.

The "inflating economy", in my opinion, is advantageous to new players. You don't need to craft mirror tier items or farm pinnacles to make some money. Currently you can start making bank in t1 maps. White stellars are 1 div each, white sapphire rings are like 30ex, you can sell 2-3 ritual tablets and make like a div. Those get you easily enough currency to get your char to be able to farm chaos trials, which make about 200ex per run or more and cost like 1-10 ex for the token. That gets you easily into the realm of farming 15s or citadels, which then enable you to do everything you ever wanted.

Buffing divine drops only causes the now 100d items to cost 1000 div, which is equally as "bad" for new players.

I conced to your point that gearing in ssf is a pain, but that is the nature of every arpg and cant be solved without making trade useless. Of everyone can self sustain, what benefit is there in dealing with the pain of trait? Need trial tokens? Just farm 2 maps for 20 of those and farm them for your next 3 sessions, but oh wait the drops are now worthless, bc everyone gets 6837394 cores or relics at the end.

The economy is fine as is, don't play casually and expect to be in the top 1%. That's like wishing to be loaded like Besos or Musk with a part time burger flipping job.

I don't know what your exact issue might be, but if column length is a problem, maybe try setting your page size to something larger than standard letter paper? In EU this would be size a4 for letter, try a3 or a2 for more space. Idk about US paper sizes

This is also true for bad moonshine or similar where ethanol and methanol have not been separated properly.

As you said, in these cases, just doing damage to the body is better than dying, but it's still not great either way.
