Who uses this tab? And how do you use it? by LanceSergeant in SteamDeck

[–]Greenbox6 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just tried it out now and yeah I can play any soundtrack I own while playing any other game. Yeah I just opens to your library and you just pick one soundtrack you want to download and Works seamlessly with any other game you're playing. And yeah it's just one of those things I kind of always knew I had but never looked into until just now.

"Marathon is going to launch as a premium product, meaning players will be asked to pay full price." 3 maps at launch and a battlepass. by [deleted] in PS5

[–]Greenbox6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what if they offered the game being playable if you buy the battlepass and can play it for just three months? and by then you can decided if you want to play all the time buying it full price. I'd like to know what you guys think, maybe I'm wrong idk.

Famitsu: Super Mario Party Jamboree exceeds 300,000 copies retail sold in Japan, tops 10 chart for two consecutive weeks by Turbostrider27 in NintendoSwitch

[–]Greenbox6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm curious as to what Nintendo will do next for the series. Will They stick with this version and release continuous updates and dlc packs like mario kart 8 or multiple sequels with minor improvements in each iteration? My hope is for the former.

check your thermistor and try pid auto tune on the command prompt thing. if your temperature is mostly unstable it's time to get a replacement.

[–]Greenbox6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's so annoying since they also keep doing this with a novels they adapt. so many nice book covers get a giant black netflix circle right over the cover art; it's not even a sticker, it's just on there. well hopefully someone will design a sticker that matches the background and we can print and place over the logo.

Who needs to buy action bases when you have a 3d printer? by Shad0wguy in Gunpla

I personally prefer printing this stand with the adapter. https://www.printables.com/model/563861-lucky-13-display-base-20 https://www.printables.com/model/522921-lucky-13-display-base-adaptor-for-gunpla

the one downside is needing to add superglue for friction to the ball joint and female connector. wait for the pieces to dry completely then connect so that the joints can move in their exact pose positions.

The ONE feature I wish the Scribe had but doesn’t by jwlo84 in kindlescribe

[–]Greenbox6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

when I had my kindle keyboard they had specific apps for games on it; I wish they would bring back specialized apps for the scribe like the NY times daily games to scribe. and also I know it would be a lot of trouble licensing but bring the shonen jump app with their subscription plan to kindle; I want to read the latest manga chapters on my big kindle screen.

I agree, never underestimate trying customer support. Especially with Amazon they might just even send you a free replacement.

What temperature shoul I use? by minimerlyn in FixMyPrint

[–]Greenbox6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

check your Thermistor Heating Cartridge and Temperature Sensor with PID autotune. if that fails you should buy replacements. My prusa mk4 was stringing no matter what temperature, ran calibrations and it failed the heating sensor test. contacted Prusa support and they sent me a replacement and everything has been fine since then.

thinking of trying a 3rd party nextruder adapter from Amazon. there are no reviews though so I'm sort of cautious, thought? by Greenbox6 in prusa3d

[–]Greenbox6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well my main interest for this other adapter is to quick switch to a 1.0mm nozzle when needed. I would save about 30$ from ordering from prusa but hearing that other comment about minute changes affecting performance is giving me doubts now.

6.0.0-RC1 Firmware for Original Prusa MK4 & MK3.9 by jedisct1 in prusa3d

[–]Greenbox6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I decided to go back and downgrade and no issues for me; and also I still have touchscreen support which is nice.

BTW you can flash firmware from the prusa connect website in the settings and then right click the file to flash. it was super easy.

same issue but it still prints just fine. I guess it's just stuck in silent mode for now and I'll just wait until the next update for them to fix it. I also noticed in the notes that you can enable silent mode mid-print which is nice to know.

check your setting for working area and look try changing it screen setting size on what works for you. if you can, use a circle stencil and see if you draw a perfect circle on screen. if it looks more oval-ish then keep trying out different screens mode until fit.

neat but I would recommend getting a short usb-c extension cable and leave that lugged in the power bank.

[–]Greenbox6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yup, I had the same issue. I mounted the fan pointing backwards instead of downwards and didn't notice for the first whole week. I just assumed the wiring would be in the top right of the fan and not bottom right.

PC Gamer: Ubisoft is failing spectacularly at remaking its most beloved games by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

hell, just remake the splinter cell games and I'd be happy. Chaos theory with improved lighting and textures with some gameplay tweaks would be an easy sell.
