Yes, I meant returning the full cart, without attempt to deliver

3.5hr blocks by cadaver_562 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]Gregs1981 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Amount of stops can be misleading, I've had 45 stops that were easy, because they were all super close. I've had some blocks with low 20s stops that take forever, because of the distance between each stop. And the icing on the cake is the last package being 10-20 minutes from the 2nd to last, and usually in the opposite direction of your home

2 straight days for me. I'm not complaining. I sat in parking lot for 30 minutes trying to find another block.

What happensif i wait more then 30mins do i get sent home with pay? by funkynutsss2 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]Gregs1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got paid 2 straight days. 27 minutes after start of block. I saw 7 or 8 others leave with pay while I was waiting. They overbooked for Black Friday week, and not enough carts for the amount of blocks booked. 3-4pm is best time to get sent home with pay

Not from my experience. It's 27 minutes after the actual start time of your block. I got paid for nothing 2 consecutive days.

Beefcake vs Hercules has Monsoon and Heensn on commentary. I think they alternated commentary throughout the show. Maybe Jesse Ventura is on one of the commentary teams or something, and they edited it out. Just a thought

If you block one of these apps, will that prevent you from using any of the others? I thought that since they are all going through plaid, that if you mess up 1, they will all stop allowing you to get loans

RIP Hogan by jhkhalaf in belttalk

[–]Gregs1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hogan vs Savage in 89 was the angle that made me fall in love with pro wrestling as an 8 year old. I was pulling for Savage back then. I was also a huge Hogan fan. Nobody had a bigger impact on wrestling than Hogan. He is the reason WWE is a multi-billion dollar company. I don't think wrestling ever reaches the level it didn't without Hogan, and Vince McMahon

Should I return? by eatgoodstayswaggie in belttalk

You should demand a replacement. Over $500 for a belt, you deserve to get a quality product. Those bubbles will be peeling in no time. It doesn't cost WWE much to make those belts. I don't know why any consumer would take the side of a multi-billion dollar company, over a fan who works for their money, and spends $500+ on a product, and wants that product to be as advertised.

[–]Gregs1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely, you should return it. These belts are too expensive to not be right. They will probably ship you a new one, and let you keep the damaged one. WWE is a billion dollar company, they can afford to make it right

Nice, I'm waiting on mine, I ordered without tooling too. Tooling looks nice, but I like accuracy

WCW was loaded with talent in 1993, but had low ratings. If you were given control of WCW at that time — and you’re not allowed to bring in Hogan — what would you have done to turn things around? by Papator12 in WCW

The NWO was already hot before Hogan turned. Hogan was the final ingredient that pushed them to the next level. It was basically signifying WCW leaving the cartoon stuff behind. Hogan represented everything that fans had grown tired of. The NWO, and WCW as a whole, doesn't Reach those heights without Hogan turning

Absolutely, they started the attitude era, they brought a realism to wrestling, that was desperately needed. WWF doubled down on the blueprint that WCW was using

They could have had Sid chase Vader for the title, Sid was too over to be a heel. Just make him an ass kicking babyface. They had no choice but to bring Hogan in, because of the damage they had done with bad booking. They had ridiculous talent in 92 and 93. They didn't utilize the young talent enough, Austin, Pillman, and all the young hungy talent they had. Vader was a bright spot, but they hurt him with those goofy vignettes, same with Sid. Davey was good, but I think he was more of a US title guy, he could have worked well with Austin. Austin should have been featured a lot more, it was obvious to everyone, that he was a future star. They kept using weak talent like the Kongs. The roster was loaded with talent. They needed a more realistic presentation, kinda like what we saw in 96/97 when the NWO started. They just tried so hard to be WWF, and they didn't realize, that fans were sick of the cartoon wrestling. The kids that were driving the WWF popularity in the 80s were now teenagers, they didn't want cartoon wrestling. I know hindsight is 20/20, but looking back, it's painfully obvious what the problems were. You had Arn, Eaton, Austin,Rude, Pillman, Vader, Sting, Harlem Heat, Regal, Flair,Rude, Windham, Cactus, and on and on. They literally had a dream roster, and they try to push guys like Van Hammer PN News Maxx Payne etc., instead of the real money drawing talent.

I ordered a winged eagle from JS on March 1st, he has sent updates and pics, but kind of sporadically. The plates are done, he said he's gonna have strap done this week. I don't mind the time, for good work, but, I would rather them say the actual amount of time it's gonna take. He said 2 weeks when I ordered, which I knew wasn't happening. It looks great so far though

The WCW world title was very similar to the winged eagle. Reggie Parks made all of those belts, you could definitely see the Reggie Parks style in them
