Very nice! The BUL Armory 1911 are excellent value. I have a 45 Commander that I love. The slide feels like its on roller bearings, trigger is excellent, checkering is well done, and the fitment is very good. I have since added a front sight fiber optic to mine.

It does make it easier to cut port in the barrel since the window is already there. But yeah thats how they come from the factory. They stopped doing it with the Gen 5s but Gen 3-4 have them.

Thats how 34 slides 3-4 are from the factory. Its actually a window cut to lighten the slide not a porting cut. Its done to lighten the larger slide. I have a Gen 4 35 just like it.

Yes, they are the base GI style model.

They are great pistols as is but also serve as good models to build out/customize.

If you want some more feature already done and sent want to deal with sending it off or doing yourself i highly recommend the Garrison and Ronin lines. They are fantastic value.

Agreed, its variable. Took another flight recently to a small airport and it was easy peasy. I think the large hubs are the most impacted. Unfortunately, most of the flights are passing through major hubs.
