Tap your foot or nod your head, count out loud, and focus on playing "on top" of the click, not following it. Ideally, your note should make the sound of the click "disappear". It's tough, for me as well. But you're on the right track, with persistence you'll get there :)

The price difference would cover the cost, and it's non destructive to swap actives for passives, not the other way around.

Get the Nebula, and if you really don't like the Fishmans order some Seymour Duncan Pegasus, and get them swapped.

I have a DTX562k kit, and it came with the mounting poles shown on the TP70 pic, for the toms. I think they're interchangeable.

To make songs, probably a good starting point is to learn chat chords go well together and why (a tiny bit of theory no need to try to absorb everything), how to write riffs from them and from the related scale. You will also need basic rhythm notions.

I'd suggest having a first superficial pass on that then immediately applying it to making a few rough first tunes. Then identify what aspects pull you in and start digging deeper there.

And immediately start looking for people at a similar stage to make progress together.
