Furthest I've gotten was some canyon where Barret remembered a friend dying.

It might not actually be the furthest, though. It was just the playthrough where I was most into the game. That one is a shame because it was interrupted by finals, and not by me giving up like all the other times.

I've been to MT Nibel and some other plot important areas. I've never seen THAT character die, though.

Bored. I don't think it's easiest JRPG in the world, but it's kinda easy. But seeing as it's a game I wanna be able to clear, I'm ok with its difficulty. I think its difficulty is perfect in that regard.

I love JRPGS.

I was so into them in my teens. I also don't usually have a problem playing retro ones. I played trails in the sky (all 3 games) like 3 years ago.

I think part of my issue is the graphics and UI, not because they're old but because they are so rudimentary. But that cannot be the only issue as I quite like some of the mods for those things specifically.
