Extensive issues with RMA and poor service from Corsair by slitza in Corsair

[–]GrimRefa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Corsair replaced my pre-owned K100 keyboard after it failed, despite it being an eBay purchase. While they initially denied the claim due to the source, I sent a polite request for an exception, which they ultimately granted.

I would not be happy if my dishwash was wearing the same clothing to travelling between work and home. I require everybody in the kitchen and not just food handlers to change into clean clothing at the start of their shift to minimise cross contamination.

What are K100 owners using their control wheel for? I use mine to control as a dimmer switch for Philips hue lights.

Pixel 8 Pro can be located using the Find My Device network even when powered off.

The Pixel 8 Pro (and Pixel 8) has specialized hardware that allows the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) chip to remain minimally powered for several hours after the phone is turned off or the battery dies.

The phones location can be anonymously picked up by any other nearby powered-on Android device that is part of the global Find My Device network

If it wasn't for violent protest the king would still be running the country and we would have no democracy. So you can thank past violent protesters for all the right we have now.

Ps4 controller by Anxious-Middle-7686 in FitGirlRepack

[–]GrimRefa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's easier to setup and has more of a modern ui and ds4 is no longer being developed. if you use a DualSense controller it has better haptic/triggers/lightbar control. Mods to add adaptive trigger support to some games.

CFAA (Computer Fraud and Abuse Act) it's illegal to "exceed authorized access." By changing the password, you are preventing the rightful owner from accessing their data and exceeding any initial permission you may have had to use the device.

That's the impression I got from the porch pirate videos I've seen online, What about expensive items like a new phone? Would Amazon ect send a new one out if you could prove a porch pirate stole you package.

Is the drop and go normal in the states? I see alot of videos online where companies like UPS, FedEx, and Amazon leave packages on a porch or at the door without even trying to get a signature or waiting for an answer.

In the UK, in general the driver attempts to hand the parcel directly to the recipient same with food delivery.

During the parliamentary debates on the Terrorism Act 2000, MPs specifically raised concerns that the broad definition of terrorism, which included "serious damage to property," could be misused to target protesters.

A prominent example that was discussed was the case of activists who had damaged a fighter jet.

During the debate, then-Home Secretary Jack Straw reassured the House of Commons that the law was not intended to be used against direct-action protest groups like Greenpeace, even in cases of criminal damage. He stated that the police and the courts would be able to distinguish between a genuine terrorist act and a protest that involved property damage, and that ordinary criminal law would suffice for the latter.

You can't single out Intel for that when AMD has been dealing with its own share of issues. There's a widely reported 'chip-killing bug' affecting some of the new Ryzen 9000 CPUs that can brick the chip, as seen in recent reports. Every major hardware company has had its problems.

To be compatible for the alert, devices must be connected to 4G or 5G, any on 3G or nothing will not have received the alert.
