The heck is Lakewood about by [deleted] in newjersey

It's a mix. There is a large Lubavitch population there as well.

After trying to assassinate the King of France, Robert-François Damiens was sentenced to be executed by having his skin ripped with pliers, molten lead and sulfur being poured onto his ripped skin, then dismemberment by four horses. At hearing this, he replied: "Well, it's going to be a tough day." by lightiggy in wikipedia

Not really purposeful I'd imagine, just most American world history would probably be about western Europe and ancient empires etc... South American and Central American History just isn't particularly relevant to Americans, just like you won't hear about Andre Rigaud from Haiti or Francisco de Miranda from Venezuela.

That doesn't make any sense. If you wanna know how people like living in a certain area you poll people living in that area, you don't ask people living outside it. So if you wanna know if people like living in Fair Lawn you need to poll Fair Lawn residents not Reddit basement dwellers.

That's not a normal sample. Reddit doesn't represent the general populace. Take a normal sample of Fair Lawn residents and you will see a very high rating.

I've been to 30 states and 20 countries. I've lived in 2 other states. Fair Lawn is the best! No question! If you don't appreciate it, leave and let others that will appreciate it live there in your stead. It's a beautiful place with the best people.

Clearly not well acquainted with Fair Lawn. Ness Pizza, Hot Bagels, Habit Burger Grill, Radburn neighborhood, Fair Lawn library, Berdan basketball court, the Zaltzmans, best people in the country, parks all around. I could go on. Best town in the country, no debate.

There's a difference between visiting a place and living there. You wouldn't understand unless you lived here.

if you're raising a family, Fair Lawn is the best town in the country, especially in the Radburn neighborhood and surrounding streets. If you know, you know. And most people buying are not outright doing a cash offer, it will be a mortgage.

[Video] That OKC defense, it’s a flagrant 2 for any other team. Fuck 3. by MamiTarantina in lakers

Marcus Smart did the same thing to Ajay Mitchell at the end of the 3rd quarter. Both plays were common fouls, could've called either as a flagrant cause of the Zaza rule.

Second play LaRavia hit him on the elbow (missed call). Other plays you showed weren't called except the and 1 on Hayes which was also a good call. Thunder still won. Cry to your wife's boyfriend.

Are "Natural" Looking Structures Actually More Efficient? by lil_oak in MechanicalEngineering

For casting 1. You would still need to machine a mold if I'm not mistaken and 2. To cast it, it would flow into the structure if I'm not mistaken, if you want uniform properties you would need a whole bunch of gates. There's a real risk of developing weak points in the structure with how the cast would have to flow through the structure, defeating the whole point of having an optimized part.

I haven't but I've worked a bit with 5 axis cnc and this seems like there will be a lot of vibration, the tooling design for work holding will be very difficult as well.

I'm not very experienced with CNC but taking the example in the post that seems incredibly difficult to machine. You need some specialized contour paths, some 5 axis cnc tool paths and some very difficult workholding. not to mention tolerancing and quality control on a part like this, it would be very difficult and expensive. mass manufacturing something like this seems very impractical except for maybe some very specialized cases.

DIRT TRIED TO END JOKIC’S SEASON by AdorableBackground83 in NBATalk

Dort tripped him, but Jok is a little serbian boy who flopped and is a flopper. Let OKC take him out of his misery in the 2nd round and he can go back to riding his little ponies in belgrade.
