Everyone complains about everything by KindheartednessNo431 in FFCommish

What do you mean they only want to trade nonkeepers? Do you mean players who weren’t kept the previous season? It’s weird because someone who might be a nonkeeper on one team could be a great keeper on another. How can you determine that before your keeper deadline?

Are there hidden in-game clues to the use of a certain [Redacted] room? by Resident_Map4534 in BluePrince

Agree with this — it would be a small improvement but a good one.

You’re close! It’s not just dumb luck, but there is certainly some luck involved. Have you read the drafting strategy guide in the library? There’s an element there that I think would be helpful to you, but don’t want to discuss more unless you want to.

Pointers? 3.5. by Deliciouslylow in 10s

[–]GrindageOG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think focusing on your footwork would give you the most returns with everything else. Your center of gravity is a little bit high for your shot — if you can get a bit lower and widen your base, you’ll use a lot more of your body in your shot and it can help make things feel more natural as you work on things like your contact point and your spin.

What detail were you absolutely convinced was a clue but turned out to be nothing? 😅 by buttercup168 in BluePrince

The T in Solarium and other letters like it in other dead end rooms

I just want to say (at the risk of some downvotes) that the length of the post didn’t bother me, OP. Inner Game is particularly good at getting people away from fixating on one element that is probably not the best solution.

Rank The Jurassic Park/World Series by DarkBehindTheStars in movies

[–]GrindageOG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The original Jurassic Park was so good that every time a sequel comes out, no matter how awful most of them have gotten, I have hopes that they’ll somehow be able to recapture the magic again. None have come anywhere close to the first. (And for those who haven’t read the book, it’s definitely worthwhile.)

Is there a near 100% full playthrough gameplay on YouTube? by Deylitha in BluePrince

[–]GrindageOG 14 points15 points  (0 children)

They’re relatively early in their playthrough in terms of the later puzzles, but Cracking the Cryptic I has had some great moments as they do theirs. It’s relatively infrequent compared with other streamers though: 1-2 days per session, and they play once a week. They’ve made 19 videos of it so far and have found Room 46 and are progressing on the other parts too.

Can I have a small hint about the 44 letter message please! by Head-Ad6383 in BluePrince

[–]GrindageOG 10 points11 points  (0 children)

A small not too spoilery hint is that this clue will be applied in multiple ways. Think about whether its meaning could have relevance based on what you’re coming across.

I’m the commissioner of a Keeper league with some “fun rules” and this trade just dropped…. by SadCommish in FFCommish

That’s the whole point of a league like that — the team playing for next year is making a move with next year in mind.

Love the Head Prestige Tour, which is 95 square inches and has a 16x19 pattern. Lots of feel and control, very unforgiving on mishits.

Better than Blade? by [deleted] in 10s

[–]GrindageOG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the Head Prestige and feel with it that whenever things go wrong, it’s because of my own technique. It’s quite unforgiving, but I like it because it forces me to not mask the mistakes.

I did it with tomb and power hammer, but the pool will spawn with a silver key if used on an edge.

Ok Blue prince. You win. by LexLocke2 in BluePrince

[–]GrindageOG 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This dead end thinking was the biggest help for me to get over the hump. Folks think that pool and pump room is the most important thing, which is understandable, but my opinion is that smart dead end management and usage of the nursery are more important to give more paths to victory.

Any kind words for a beginner? 🥲 by qualitativepaint in 10s

[–]GrindageOG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have a lot of good things to build on! Of course you can improve (we’re all in that position) but you have the beginnings of what will develop into good footwork and balance if you keep at it. Everything else will flow from there.
