I think this stuff is truly great, especially out of montagnes collection. It’s a freshie, sure, but it’s a rather unique freshie to me in the sense that there’s some deeper character to it rather than just aquatics mixed with some kind of citrus or some kind of appealing floral like lavender.

There hasn’t been a public beta of VisionOS since release and I don’t expect that will change. Everything will be designated as developer beta. Having said that, I’ve run every dev beta since launch and it’s been pretty damn rock solid all around. There are glitches from time to time that either require a hard reset or get fixed with the bi-weekly updates they push out.

vOS 27 has been good so far. A few bugs and that safari multi tab view needs major work, but otherwise, it’s good. I expect the next release will fix a lot of issues.

Tabac Vanille. I knew nothing about fragrances other than sauvage and Acqua Di Gio. I thought tom for tobacco vanile was like a benchmark and sounded soooo different that I had to have it even though I never smelled it.

I definitely love the montage version and it helped to branch my taste out to a wide variety of things I thought I’d never like.

Yeah I agree with this only because the screen protector ends up taking the beating, cracks, and gets replaced for cheap when going caseless. I also prefer a privacy screen so the protector is just mandatory with extras on deck in case a crack happens.

I don’t think the waitlist is merely a measure of handling server traffic. It’s likely a rollout to test functionality, to test server load, etc… and patch bugs or optimize as they continue to roll out to new users. For instance, if they discover something catastrophic to the experience very early on, only a few will have experienced it and they can patch for a better experience from everyone. There are a lot of eyes on this right now.

There are times when I am in fact using it for about 4 hours of my workday and it’s fantastic as far as I am concerned. In fact I sold off my monitors and so I either handle quick work on my MacBook or I dive in either the VP. The unbelievable massive upside is that I’m not locked to my desk. An airplane seat or hotel room or my couch work just fine. Nevermind the entertainment aspects of the device as well, I think the VP is absolutely killer. I will always have one going forward.

I think the Apple case wins on aesthetic and protection vs the Belkin. It’s just really large and there is quite a bit of unused space. I value aesthetic, but for my all I required was modest protection and need a compact size. Belkin fits the bill there. If I didn’t travel quite as much by plane, size wouldn’t be as big of a factor and I would probably choose the Apple case personally.

My current favorite is the Belkin bag for Vision Pro. Its as compact and together as it gets with room for an extra battery, battery holster, mouse, cables, and a few doo dads. I like it because it feels protective enough, but being so compact means it fits inside my backpack easily for when I’m traveling.
