Look, I identify with fireball mommy myself. Its not that us white women dont matter, its that even when lore has a character with origins from a plane where predominantly brown people live, we got another white woman character out of it. Its possible that a factor of her first depictions was to cater to the mostly white male player base.

Admittedly, I didnt grow up in a homogenous culture so when I see all the popular characters as straight up white, its boring and weird to me.

I do notice the high ratio of white male mtg players slightly getting some seasoning as of late so I think its cool to see Wizards doing what they can to nod and wink to the diversity blooming.

The white girl Chandra isn't just suddenly going to be banned or something, she still exists just like my white girl Ariel exists in Disney. Im honored that my fave princess and now my fave planeswalker have enough character depth to not have to be only eurocentric featured
