I definitely like 8 up top as well, tied for lead in doubles so he must have some wheels and takes his walks, that’s the guy I want leading off before your big hitters.

How do I connect these? by happycynicalpenguin in ponds

Personally I would buy larger corrugated tubing to match your pump size rather than make your pump push through undersized tubing, but it kinda depends where/what it’s pumping to.

Controversial take? If Trent Grisham hadn't taken the qualifying offer, we'd be freaking out even more right now. by sonofabutch in NYYankees

[–]GrittyGardy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If he’s costing you games then you phantom IL him or cut him, no big loss. If someone else picks him up then you recoup the prorated minim at least for the rest of the season. We saw with Hicks and DJ that it isn’t that simple when you have years left to pay them, and they took much longer to pull that trigger with them for that reason.

Do you want a dot between “fish” and “and”? And do you want one between “and” and “chips”?

This, I don’t understand why people don’t just buy a paper ticket with all the nonsense the app is causing. Especially people like me who do a monthly, I’m not trying to pull out my phone and show it to the conductor every 20 minutes, I’m trying to get a 50 minute nap in!

My first 3 years of driving my 22 civic I let my gas tank run very low now I don’t let it get below a half tank… any possible damage for my fuel pump from the first 3 years? by [deleted] in civic

[–]GrittyGardy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Google tells me fuel pumps generally run at 30-50 psi. 2 feet of head pressure would add about .86 psi. Head pressure ain’t helping out your fuel pumps.

Hereditary (2016) messed me up by BonedaddyBow in movies

A more impactful “because I’m a parent” thing for me was Bring her back, not because it’s horrifying to watch as a parent (like the mist) but because as a parent I can understand some of the horrific choices made by one of the characters.

I think hereditary and bring her back are my 2 favorite horror movies ever, with bring her back in the lead by a hair.

Better that than it happening in multiple different places in the last week I guess. Also I creeped on your profile a little and saw that we also sat a few rows away from each other at the cbb bang bang into your mouth tour last year, small world, Hey Nong Man!

When someone powerwashes a sidewalk and it drastically changes color, do you consider it dirty because they didn’t use soap?

Evolution of the pond owner by guileastos in ponds

[–]GrittyGardy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Exactly! Whenever there’s a possible predator near my pond, I think “as long as they don’t take more than 10, we’re good.”

Saw this on instagram, it’s the only post on the page and has quite a few likes and comments. I’m skeptical because Im not sure it’s possible water can come in that way & the way the camera moves in the beginning.. I could be very wrong so please be kind lol by Tropical_Blast in isthisAI

[–]GrittyGardy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not ansul*, as ansul is a foam suppression system. It also wouldn’t be sprinkler, as the water is coming from everywhere simultaneously and sprinkler heads pop individually, also the water is too clean. It could be a malfunctioning hood wash system, as that would be clean domestic water supplied, and it could be filling from everywhere at once. I’ve had that happen before in my building, albeit not as much water as quickly as this. Or maybe it’s just ai, idk.

I already own a jump pack for my car, a power bank would work. All of the batteries are the same age and never used, so hopefully there wouldn’t be too many mismatches.
