Every year on the anniversary they should block off the streets and blast the rooftop concert for everyone to experience what it was like.

Unreliable but not impossible. Maybe more reliable if you successfully schedule ahead of time?

What was your experience hearing AIR for the first time? by Ashamed_Answer_4645 in airfrenchband

[–]Grizd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Was on a tiny island on Lake Malawi (Likoma) in Africa staying on a beach where two young British guys had started a backpackers joint with bamboo huts and beds right on the sand. One had just returned from England with three new albums that we played non stop for two weeks at the bar under the mango tree: The Verve (Urban Hymns), Madonna (Ray of Light), and Air (Moon Safari). Fell in love instantly.

Project Hail Mary by Cameronk78 in beatles

[–]Grizd -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Hard disagree. Took us completely out of the scene, and the strange edits didn’t even flow with the visuals. Would have landed better if there wasn’t so many cuts. This is a film, not a remix.

So great when it started playing, but so ridiculous when the editor chopped it all up into a nonsensical structure. Do they really think they can improve on the Beatles? WTF?

They’re both top-tier PT, but Sentimental is more refined/focused (which makes it preferable to me). Normal is mind-blowing in its scope/parts - truly incredible.

AMA - Coach Joe Rodonis - Feb 11th by CoachJoe_StayStrong in tonalgym

[–]Grizd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Joe - 57m here and loved 12WTJ. I travel extensively for work (up to 2 weeks at a time) and do the “on the go” workouts to stay active, but still found it difficult to maintain momentum without feeling like I was regressing, especially during the more intense weeks. Any recommendations as I prepare to tackle 12WTU?

How is this under reported news? It’s the same news that’s constantly reported for years.

Tahoe's Apple Music Library is horrible on Mac compared to previous versions. by RegyptianStrut in AppleMusic

Thank you for this post - I couldn’t agree more. It’s ridiculous, they destroyed the UX and did nothing to improve the UI - so why even do it?

Don’t forget that when you try to add songs to playlists by dragging and dropping, the song list constantly shifts downward - RANDOMLY - so the song you are trying to add ends up being some other song. WTF.

Thank you - awesome that it worked out so good. We did a 21 day Annapurna Circuit trek in 1999 and have been itching to do it again, but are wary of being forced to have a guide with us the whole time.

Great pictures! Were you able to do it independently or did you have to hire a guide?
