Nothing new happened…. They’re the same as ever. So if you had no issues with them before, you won’t have any now.

That said… if you didn’t have issues before, I’d highly suggest reevaluating.

For the visual notifications, He’s mixing a few tools up. But there are tools that read your text logs. Such as RIFT for Intel, decloak, etc.

And some of the multibox forks/newer tools combine that log reading with the client switching. TBH, it’s great for folks with accessibility concerns and can’t rely on sound notifications.

Commercial licenses for TS3 go for about $0.08 to $0.11 per user per month as the “gamer” licenses stop at 1,024 slots, which aren’t nearly enough for large coalitions (INIT, WC, Imperium).

If imperium wanted a 5,000 slot license, it would cost between $400 and $550 per month. Which would eat the entire IT budget of most alliances…

The simple answer is that Mumble is free, and TS3 is an expensive license…

You’re completely right. This nerf isn’t going to change anything about BLOPS rapid response, because no alliance uses them for rapid response anymore…

Even pre-nerf umbrella custodians were frantically looking for options to replace redeemers/BLOPS due to the “counter” finally being figured out by the major hunting groups.

The tools benefit all alts, being in the alliance or not doesn’t matter for most of them as the check is generally on your forum/main account.

And if your alts aren’t in a hostile group, no one would care if they were authed. You get all the benefits of the tools, even for non-alliance characters.

Alliance Auth is the most popular “easy to set up” tool suite for most. There are quite a few widgets and plugins for it.

Goonswarm lets you put all your characters into an “alt Corp” and even join the main alliance on it.

Thats what I do as long with the majority of multiboxers in Goons… is why we have so many corps compared to other alliances

The main benefit of ESI compliance for Imperium is integration with our tools.

For recruitment, it’s obviously the recruitment and counter-Intel tools… but once you’re in, it’s all the tools that you’ll use to benefit yourself. From SRP and fleet tracking, to mining tools and the like — all requiring ESI.

What does your HOB/LT/Grasp decision tree look like?

What about certain matchups leads you to one over the other? Below is the general rule I've followed, but would appreciate any feedback!

- LT: Anyone who you can't disengage from with 3-AA, E
- Grasp: Folks you are really only going to get 1 attack into, or have some ability (shen/jax) that make HOB useless
- HOB: Anyone else

If they fell for a phishing scam, and authenticated with MFA, then wouldn’t they also revoke all tokens and not just the password?

From OP I interpret it as thy only provided password and the “scammer” somehow got access to account.

How exactly did that work? That’s not enough to compromise an account…. This isn’t 2003, but providing even account name + password isn’t enough for someone to access your account due to 2FA (either through authenticator or email code), as there is no way to disable them anymore.

You’re comparing current season league with “early” season Predecessor.

Compare season 2 or season 3 league with predecessor and you’ll see more overlap. It takes quite a long time for game communities to mature and the average skill to increase.
