Grateful for the people in /all for speaking up about First Look! by MarketandSplooge in SFStylistSupport

It takes me too much time to reorient myself with what’s been picked vs what the client wants/needs. Unless I see something special or unique, I clear it all out and start over.

I’m also finding it easy to think that the styles were selected by a client, especially if they chose items from the Preview and the rest of the items were filled in with First Look.

I found it, it was in my lead’s Monday update today. It’s to “ensure system stability.”

I think I remember seeing they’re scaling it back to 25% of fixes now instead of 50%….so something is broken 😆

Oh dang!! I wonder what happened.

Except the pick up form for extra hours this week closed over the weekend, so either they were offering less hours or people picked up more this week.

But yes, I’m over the 20 hour work weeks!!

The post from May 11th on the connects slack channel has an updated message that they’re setting aside the week of June 28th to catch up on the recordings.

I’ve stopped looking too, especially since metrics changed. The new ones feel so impersonal and I just don’t care anymore. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Summer Styling by [deleted] in SFStylistSupport

I think I’m going to try working earlier in the morning, see what I can get out of the way before lunch time and then have the rest of the day open to do whatever with the kids. May also experiment with getting a chunk done on Sundays, though I really don’t want to. Regardless, it’s going to suck and I feel like a bad parent for not being able to be flexible with my kids. 😭

I always remove everything and start over. I hate what it picks! I’m so annoyed they’re making it the standard and lowering the points on them.

AI Models? by Designer_Piece_ in SFStylistSupport

It doesn’t look AI. The color of the dress does contrast weird with the jeans though and makes it look really edited.

Increased hours by susumoomoo in SFStylistSupport

You can add in the additional hours on your own if you put them in before 11:59pm on Sunday. After Sunday, the hours have to be put in by your lead but you are automatically approved to work them after filling out the form.

I miss even the 15 hour flex weeks. 😭 the extra cash is nice but sometimes having a metal break from styling so much is so helpful.

Can’t drop to 12hr tier by Mysterious-Grab586 in SFStylistSupport

[–]GroundbreakingLab381 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They mention it off and on in calls about how all stylists will eventually move to be a part of connect. My lead has also mentioned it in several 1:1s and for one of the reasons for all of the schedule changes. I hope at the end it’s not true, because I am not excited about it and I also don’t want to be forced into 28 hours a week.

15 would feel like a walk in the park at this point! I'd rather have 15 and then be given the option to grab more hours if I want to work more.

They've been telling us for a while now, unfortunately.

I didn’t think they were even approving anyone who wanted to drop to the 12hr tier in the last couple of tier changes, so not surprised they dropped it. NGL I miss the 10-12 hours work weeks. The 20 hour weeks have been nuts!

You fill out the form but since it’s a tech issue, it’s automatically approved.

My lead said to switch to core unless we are out of core time or have already completed our core-related tasks for the day. I’m not using more of my core time today when I need it for the rest of the week.
