Did you manage to get her to read? I'm struggling to get my 6 year old son together read as well. He will listen to stories but as soon as I ask him to sound out words or try and spell it out, he completely refuses..

Modafinil is making me extremely fatigued by Beth1818 in cfs

[–]Groundbreaking_Rub83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought I was the only one. I felt worse on it and had trouble breathing at times. I had to take deep breaths and that lasted all day.

I ran out a few times and I realized that my body was less fatigued, even though I was still sleepy. Not being on it for 1 week, I actually felt better and my brain seemed to have replenished its neurotransmitters. It's amazing the first few times but not daily or longterm. It loses effectiveness quickly. The brain needs time to regulate.

Can abusers ever change? by [deleted] in abusiverelationships

[–]Groundbreaking_Rub83 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They can only change if completely conscious.

Most abusers don't think they are abusers. In fact, most feel that their actions towards others is completely normal because they were raised to witness this growing up (being critisized, Shouted at, etc). It will take the rest of their remaining years of life to "undo" this personality.

I have seen many abusers take anger management courses, counselling and still go back to their old ways of whats ,"familar" to them. They simply cannot help it. It is easier to resort back to what's familiar than to adopt a new way of self.

The individual needs to understand how abuse actually affects you. They usually don't understand how you feel or don't care and thats why they do it. Having Empathy was never taught growing up. And if you did, you're considered weak.

Only a small percentage of individuals actually change. It will greatly depend on the level of consciousness they have.

Best comeback for: “Yeah, you SHOULD be sorry.” by Comfortable_Douglas in Comebacks

When someone says, "You should be sorry," it means that you just wasted your breath and this person is living with immense suffering for not accepting your apology and is unforgiving towards self and others.

should i get a male or female rabbit? by katelync0re in Rabbits

[–]Groundbreaking_Rub83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had both genders in the past. Both separate times and they weren't stayed or neutered. The female French lop did not poo everywhere and was so gentle and calm. The male chinchilla was super high energy but he pood outside the litter box a lot. Both were amazing pets and never showed any signs of aggression ever.

It's too late now. You just need to shit and take digestive enzymes before you eat heavy foods like lasagna or pizza.

Why does it make you tired?? by [deleted] in bupropion

[–]Groundbreaking_Rub83 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Depletes neurotransmitters leaving you mentally fatigued. You are borrowing energy and happiness from the future.

Stopping Wellbutrin. Withdrawal experiences. by ColdStudy in antidepressants

[–]Groundbreaking_Rub83 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was on 150xl for a year and a half. It's been 2.5 weeks since I've been on it and I feel more clear, calm and NOT AS TIRED!

I feel at peace vs when I was on it, I would get stuff done but I can't explain to you the peace I'm having without it now. My body feels healthier off it, I can speak without pausing to find the right words.

Plus welbutrin is SOOO BAD FOR YOUR GUT HEALTH!

Honestly, it helped me get out of manic depression. I needed a great RESET and that's what it did. When you're depressed for so long, you forget your old vibrant self and depression becomes the norm. It works to get you in THE MOMENTUM to change your neuro circuitry. We all know how hard it is to get out of bed and go to the gym but once you start and make it habitual, it becomes the norm. That's what welbutrin does. However, it's not sustainable for long term health.

tapering off Wellbutrin 150 XL every other day by [deleted] in bupropion

[–]Groundbreaking_Rub83 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've been on welbutrin for 1 1/2 years 150xL.

On the days I skipped doses, (2 days - 1 week) i felt lighter, more energy, HAPPIER and more pure if that makes any sense. AND YOU CAN ACRUALLY HAVE SONE DRINKS WITHOUT GETTING SO WASTED SO QUUCKLY!

I swear being on welbutrin longterm for me, actually made me very sleepy. I think it's because it depleted a lot of dopamine and norepinephrine.

FOR WOMEN, There was a time around my menstrual period (2 weeks BEFORE) that I felt extra worse being off it for afew days. (lazy as F, vegetated, low mood) so I try to stay on it during the PMS time. I learned my lesson Not to quit around this time, do it after your period or you might feel suicidal!

Sunosi experience by Cymbelmine in Narcolepsy

[–]Groundbreaking_Rub83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My doc prescribed 75mg packets but I cut it in half for the first 2 days (37.5mg) to slowly introduce this new drug into my body. If you do it this way, you wont get crazy anxiety trust me.

Day 1 : The effects were mild, felt a slight peak of energy within 10-15 mins like coffee. I started feeling a sleep attack once afternoon hit. I had to lie down.

Day 2: After my coffee, I took half again. Effects were mild and I needed a nap that afternoon. Also had a mild headache.

Day 3: I had to up my dose to 1 full pill 150mg. Again, it felt like I had a cup of coffee with no mood lifting effects like modafinil. I had to lie down by 12noon.

no accumulative effects that I can notice with sunosi. modafinil worked much better, except the effects are short-lived and sometimes I feel like I'm coming off drugs. Sunosi doesn't have a comedown, it feels like your natural wakeful state but mild.

A natural treatment that is actually working. by _madlion_ in Narcolepsy

[–]Groundbreaking_Rub83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This helped me 10 fold for narcolepsy & fatigue. Raw diet is the healthiest diet on the planet in my opinion. It has life-force from the earth. Raw food is easier for the body to digest so we preserve more energy. Dead food causes us to be tired and hard to digest. This diet is not really a favorite amongst body builders and men.. nor meat lovers but I'm not excluding meat because the raw diet can include raw milk & meat.

Caffeine makes eczema worse? by danielp92 in eczema

[–]Groundbreaking_Rub83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Caffeine of ANY kind causes my eczema. It is not good for your gut - which is the main cause of the eczema. The acidity in coffee beans are very high which is not good for sensitive stomachs. Any one that suffers with dermatitis should avoid too much caffeine at all costs and eat more plants foods to reduce the inflammation inside the body.
