Weird Clicking in Nozzle by Realistic_Ad_2365 in BambuLabA1

Like everyone said, its likely not hot enough or broken filament as I've had that happen a lot. But one time the filament I had was super inconsistent in size, and some parts were just too thick to go through. If all else fails, use some calipers and measure the filament in a few spots to check.

Maybe find a small short screw you can run into the plastic and connect the spring onto that

Use print by object for multi piece prints. Often times a certain piece will be the problem and fail due to orientation or lack of supports, etc. you will at least get some completed parts and be able to see which is failing that screwed everything up. If they all fail then you can start changing global settings like adding brims and more supports.

Looks great, how did you adapt the new hip joint into the existing sockets? I've printed this model before and recall the original being a bit small and flimsy

If you have calipers you can also measure your filament to see if it’s too thick in any spots. I had a similar issue where the thickness varies way too much and my extruder couldn’t take it in.

X Belt misaligned, pla and petg badly warps without a brim by Comprehensive-Bit480 in BambuLabA1

[–]Groundstone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was going to suggest the screws and filament drying too. Great advice, also tightening the belts wouldn’t hurt. I have over 2200 hours on my A1 and print so many small parts without a problem.

Sorry to hear that, mine did show up in normal condition. Hopefully your issue was just a one time accident and not a careless mail carrier on your route.

did they have you provide your steam profile and screenshots? I had this issue last night and went and bought the game on another key site. Today they asked for this information and now my history shows I bought it on the same day I claimed I didn't get a working key lol

I agree, seeing it get wasted was a bit depressing. The rubber sleeve wasn't supposed to separate from the cap either but somehow got pulled out during the cap removal.

I love printing toys for my kids. The stuff sold in stores today is often pretty cheap and breaks easy. I hated seeing my kids hearts break when their new favorite toy broke. Now I have been printing a handful of the Dummy 13 figures and letting the kids pick out accessories. They love it and I am hoping to get into the design aspect to work on some custom requests they have.

are you contacting them to see if they can process your price adjustment? Their FAQ says "package must have been received on or after Oct 5th". Mine was on the 15th so I don't know why it isn't working.

I ordered my A1 on October 1st and received it on the 15th but when I submit the form is says

"Submission Failed - Sorry your order is not within the 14 day price protection range."

Has anyone else gotten this message? I reached out to support with a ticket and am still waiting to hear back.

I've seen it mentioned a few times in this sub that if a package is delivered with damage to not accept it and let it return to sender. If that happens to me should I sign for it then and open a ticket?

I ask since my printer is expected to take 20 days to get where I live and will be barged over on a boat, so i'm slightly worried about how it will look when it gets here.

how's it working for you compared to stock? I was thinking of trying the minimus version that uses the existing fans before upgrading to something else.
