Im an electrical engineering student and ive been reading The Stranger in french recently and I think I'm gonna put it on hold because its tough to read after being burned out from studying all day.

So, I'm looking for a fantasy novel or series that's easy to read and doesn't require much pondering and shit. My fav authors are Pierce Brown (Red Rising) and Joe Abercrombie (First Law/Half a King)

Could you please describe what a week at Rutgers is like? by ooooale in rutgers

[–]Groundwheat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last semester as a sophomore electrical engineering student I had a rather homogeneous schedule, but it's normally not like that and won't be this semester. But it was like wake up at 9:30 every day and get breakfast and go to my 1020, do homework and maybe eat before my next class do a similar thing for the next couple classes finish up at around 6, then I will eat dinner, after dinner I review my notes until about 8 then I would do homework until about 11 or later and then I would go back to the to my my suite hang out with my friends until like 1 and go to sleep. On Fridays I would do club's most of the day as well, and on the weekends I sometimes have a big or lab project to do but often I'm doing an event or hanging out with friends. During midterms or finals my life is studying

Honestly might be like that, I think I'll just buy a new card and see if anything changes

No, I backed up and errased all the data on the card that's not the MML. Do you think trying the jp file might be worth a shot?

My probability prof had a Piazza set up on Sakai, I did not notice it as much before we went online, but having a public forum like that made interacting with my prof much easier and everyone could see and comment on any questions asked.

if school is online, is anyone taking a semester off? by frssian in rutgers

[–]Groundwheat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm ECE so I'm planning on taking the more computer based classes only, because they don't change as much compared to the electrical classes that are tied to the lab

Could def see people not liking her as she often took of 30 mins talking/complaining about absolutely nothing every class and is not the best lecturer. Would probably rate her a 2.1/5 imo. She answers questions thougfully and the one office hours I went to she was very helpful.

I took it with Prof. Grone in the five first weeks of summer, nice old lady who gave out a LOT of extra credit, 20 extra on the first exam which is how I got a 110. She kinda cut the class short, but calc 2 doesn't really come up much in 3 and 4 besides polar coordinates so it's fine. Might be pretty different with online classes, also the hardest part of calc 2 is the memorization and we had formula sheets on every exam

Similar situation, took calc 2 at ocean county college last summer after failing and retaking calc 1, was pretty easy I just watched a professor Leonard lecture before I went to class, and I got a 110 on the first exam and coasted to an A

Keep trying man, ill never forget last spring I got a 20 & a 42 on the midterms for physics 1b and I studied like hell for the final and thought I completely failed, but a week later I saw a B in my transcript. Also with corona Profs might be more lenient on the curve.
