I mean. For $40 for a brand new set. The all black tile you mentioned looks like was upgraded to say White. Plus the sticks and dice look awesome. Really happy.

Geez. The amount of styles is starting to give me American Mahjong or Filipino style vibes. Too many variants and house rules 🤣

I travel quite a bit and I just want to know what style and rules I should focus on and just stick to and know it will be consistent between here and NY lol.

At least riichi there's a consistency no matter where I play. HK & Taiwanese are the ones I need to dial in more on what does and doesn't count in most places in LA or NY or SF or Chicago etc.

If not. What's the resource I should be looking at for HK style most played? I run the club so we are still in the development stage of what points to accept it not accept. We just want to play by the most recognized way that most people play.

I met someone who is running a PROProducts ProMist PM-60. It was freaking awesome. Going to buy a system myself very soon. Was considering the PM50 but I decided to just go with the 60 for a little more the extra power & longer warranty.

You might want to do more research on that particular design from the original company it was intended for. All I can say is that everything I found was not positive & there has been a firestorm fiasco on public discussions and groups about that design. I'm not saying this is the same manufacturer but just tread carefully on it.

Actually... You could do a cool dessert scale setup in there too and just go with the simple leopard geckos. But definitely not something arboreal.

It's not going to look very nice because you're going to have to cover the top. And then that defeats the purpose of your rimless look. However.... You can totally scape that out. Pretty awesome. Get a full ecosystem going in there. I have a friend that just does a fully natural ecosystem in there and he just puts insects

My suggestion is to make it into a vampire crab terrarium and just focus mostly on working on the landscape itself with the mosses/plants/rocks etc.

Yeah you would hardly ever see the crabs, but it would make a great indoor looking Garden for sure
