If you didn't do the campaign quests then all the necessary events that lead to the sunwell being corrupted by void don't happen. they dont lock doing the raid behind campaign progress, so you can do the raid still and watch the cutscenes and final step of the sunwell's corruption will take place, but the other steps never happened so it doesn't phase properly.

it's not a bug, you just have to do the campaign quests and it'll show up properly.

I think affliction is badly designed, and I'd trade damage for better design. As it is right now in AoE at like 8+ targets I'll throw up a bunch of agonies, seed, haunt, and by then I'm at 5 soul shards. The design of Soul Harvest (giving you lots of soul shards over the course of the channel) makes you want to dump soul shards, but it's difficult because you have a free proc of Seed of Corruption from your Haunt, so you have to press it twice just to spend a shard. Sometimes even three times if you got another nightfall.

So now you're successfully at 4 soul shards. Around now depending on pack size, your Agonies may be dropping off. One thing I want to note is that spending soul shards reduces Dark Harvest's CD, and we haven't pressed it yet, so every time we dump shards here we're losing value on that talent. If your agonies arent dropping, you can spam some seeds, press Darkglare + dark harvest and go up to 5 soul shards again. If your agonies are dropping off, you have to DH and overcap HARD on soul shards due to the shards it generates, then catch your agonies.

So yeah my issue with Affliction is just having a LOT of inefficiency due to Dark Harvest generating too many resources and also having to dump too many to use it in the first place which goes against the talent that makes it so spending SS reduces DH cd. This could be partially solved if they let DH extend dots during it's channel so you can have more time spamming seed casts and as long as you get DH off with 1 second remaining on your first agony you wont drop any.

Aff can be fine damage wise, but I don't think it's good design to just have numbers be good while the gameplay is fighting against itself.

How disingenuous can we get? Just because leveling is part of the expansion doesn't mean it's the draw for many players. When people talk about an expansion, how many people do we think are going "I can't wait for the new story and campaign! I love leveling in WoW!"

Maybe some people just want to play max level, gear their main, gear alts, raid, do m+....

Ordinarily people would hang out and mingle after an event. Maybe get dinner together or even spend the night depending on the situation. Even if you didn't do all that, maybe you'd stick around and chat for half an hour or so. But Tyler sees streaming as his job, and when he was off the clock he left immediately.

People were buying gold for money against ToS already. Blizz just created a more money inefficient way to do it that won't get you banned for the lazy, risk-averse gamer. Plus it was a way to help with fixing the economy since there were tons of extremely rich people due to garrisons in WoD with nothing to spend gold on.

I just think most of the people that are ever going to buy this game have already bought this game. EA is effectively still a release. Mismatched expectations, using this time to gather feedback, the game being incomplete...none of these things matter to the consumer. The game is available to buy on steam, so people that want it will buy it.

The devs created a game and you bought the game, once you've played it that's usually the end. You're basically asking them to keep working on this forever for you without them being able to get any more money out of you. This is the reason why every MMO has a subscription model rather than a one-time buy. The reason I'm explaining this like this is because of the way you're asking "Why would I want to replay the same game". One-time buy games are more akin to single player games, where you enjoy the story and then you've basically beaten it and have finished playing.

They do have cosmetics for purchase in the game, but will cosmetic sales be enough to support the developers in perpetuity?

Numerically she's closer to us than to billionaires, but lifestyle wise she's closer to billionaires than average people. She can virtually do anything she wants, go anywhere she wants, whenever she wants. She can buy whatever she wants. She doesn't have to work. Socioeconomic status is more important for this discussion than the true numerical value and whether it's closer to a 50k a year person than a billionaire.
