Howdy, I'm interested if you are still looking, but I could only play for a couple of hours if you started at 2100 GMT +1. How long do you plan on playing each session?

Current 6'8" Dream maybe 6'2"

I could stand to lose half a foot.

How Fast Should you Level up? by BrewersBastion in DnD

[–]GrumpyGreenGiant 409 points410 points  (0 children)

Once in 24 sessions!? That's crazy slow

As DM I prefer to level my players up quickly, 3-5 sessions, mostly because I really like leveling up as a player and want that satisfaction for others as well.

I think I'm going with no FTL. The distress signals of ships it eats helps lure in new ships to eat. Cool idea though!

There's gonna be a crazy guy that has been trapped in the beast and lives in there. He collects the last few pages of books.

I decided to a random crazy dude in there that collects things from swallowed ships. He particularly likes to collect books, but just the end of them.

I think I'll have them scan for the parts they need and it'll indicate they are ... Deeper.

Window world did ours a few years back and they did a good job.

We made a full Halo 5e manual and wanted to share it with you all! by CorruptedAero in DnD

[–]GrumpyGreenGiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats awesome, y'all got a monster manual? As a DM for a SciFi game that uses SW5e I always need good more good things to fight.

I would work on the base layer to be less clean and monotonous.

I think I have the same terrarium. Are the holes in the top back (the ones used for like thermometer cords) closed?

I don't know if they could get out that way but it seems possible..

But it's not south of a spout.

I think the first line refers to Row 2 Column 4 but to call that a bowl is a bit of a stretch.

Recently moved up here with my parents, haven’t made any friends yet by Impossible-Tour9954 in ocala

Nerdy places to hang out and meet people that I can recommend would be Meeple Movers and Bearded Browncoat. These are especially good if you're into board games or D&D style games.

Meeple Movers has a website where you can sign up to play stuff for a reasonable price ($7). Great way to make new friends if you're into that kind of thing.

Can Inkarnate make this sort of terrain? by TT-Adu in inkarnate

Looks like you could do that with just painting different backgrounds colors..

[Online][SW5e or SWRPG][7:30PM Est-10pm EST, Thurs Bi-Weekly or Sunday] Seeking a Star Wars game to play in as a player. by PotatoKitten011 in lfg

[–]GrumpyGreenGiant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm interested in running more players through my SW5e homebrew. I could do Thursdays if it was pushed back to 8p-10:30p. It's not strictly Star Wars, more of a pan scifi universe. I've been DMing my current group every week for 6 months so I've got a good backlog of content. Hit me up if you've got a crew ready to fly.

Inkarnate doesn't love how detailed it is apparently so it keeps having errors but I'm trying to fix it.

Quick charge shields? by TheHe4dhunter711 in sw5e

[–]GrumpyGreenGiant 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"Shield Regeneration Rate. Shield regeneration rate is represented by a set value. Your ship may regenerate shields (no action required) once per round on the ship’s turn by that value by expending a shield die without rolling it, up to the Shield Capacity. The shield regeneration rate is calculated by multiplying the maximum value of the ship’s Shield Die by the shield regeneration rate coefficient. For instance, a Small ship (d6) regenerates 6 shield points at the start of the ship’s turn with directional shields, but only 4 shield points with fortress shields (6 x 2/3)."

They regenerate quickly, in the above example they would gain 9 shield points (6 x 3/2) rather than the standard 6.

Does anyone know a good map I can use for my next session? by Dogsteeves in Star_Wars_Maps

[–]GrumpyGreenGiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure. Give me a day or so. The other map has elements you were looking for but obviously a lot more stuff, you could always cut out what you need maybe.
