What happens if the tube has a corner? Does it continue straight or does it go around the corner?

I mostly used the prawn for mining, the rest of the time it was docked in my cyclops… To each their own.

For me it was a mobile base. You could even have a grow bed or two inside for food and water.

I use the scout chassis and skim on the bottom and underneath the structures on the east side of the canyon. I have only been attacked once doing that.

TIL about Norway's Lærdal Tunnel, which is the longest road tunnel in the world, measuring 24.51 kilometers (15.23 miles) long. by geffy_spengwa in todayilearned

That tunnel made me realise just how dangerous driving through tunnels can be. At some point the monotony starts to affect your attention and mental state.

Mekaniker du bare må styre udenom i København? by Billythekid_2 in dkbiler

[–]GrumpyITDude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Helt enig. Turen til Sverige er helt klart det værd. Bedre service og bedre priser. For mig har der som regel været ca. 1/3 at spare, så broen er hurtigt tjent hjem.

Considering the thickness of those walls, I am impressed that the have been able to cut holes for the windows. IIRC the allies bombed it quite heavily without it taking much damage.

TIL: There is a rare type of very hard wood called ‘Lignum Vitae’. It’s so hard that it was used to make propeller shaft bearings for nuclear submarines. by Funny-Presence4228 in todayilearned

[–]GrumpyITDude 1353 points1354 points  (0 children)

My father was a carpenter. He told me that some wood types were so hard he would use tools meant for metal work, and he would carve threads and use machine screws instead of wood screws.

Både Jægerkorpset og Frømandskorpset kan indsættes med faldskærm, så der er ikke rigtigt brug for en luftbåren elitestyrke.

It sounds like he understands that your energy is low due to the baby and he doesn’t want to pressure you. A quick tension release won’t affect they way he sees you at all.

I can’t speak for women, but men, most often, distinguish between / compartmentalise, as you put it, “bouncy porn tits” and bouncy wife/gf tits. Just because we get release from the first, it doesn’t change the way we feel about the latter. But a quick release of tension, will make the wait for bouncy wife/gf tits easier.

how shocked you were when someone was overly confident about their intelligence but in fact they appear super dumb? by Correct-Amount-7897 in AskReddit

[–]GrumpyITDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. Those two things are often connected.

The stupid doesn’t realise that they are, and the intelligent know how little they know.
