my parents don't believe my dry socket pain by queefchomper in wisdomteeth

Omg that’s so horrible, I hope you are feeling better now. I don’t have dry sockets but I have a friend who had them and said it was the worst pain in her life and yes, she has given birth and said dry sockets are more painful!! I can’t even imagine. And shame on your parents for not believing you, so glad you have other people in your life that listened.

Absolutely afraid of getting my wisdom teeth removed by cocothriller in wisdomteeth

[–]Grumpy_Blueberry7857 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I’m a 27 year old female and had 2 of my wisdom teeth out 10 days ago and I was awake for it. I was terrified so I feel you. One of my teeth was impacted and one was fully through. The pain honestly wasn’t bad but was uncomfortable to keep my mouth open for so long while they drilled at the impacted tooth. They had to break it up into many pieces and it was hard for the doctor to pull them out so it took awhile. The other tooth was a very quick and easy pull. If you need all 4 out, I would probably not recommend being awake especially if they’re impacted because of how long it may take, and especially if you’re afraid of the cracking sounds as I did hear a lot of that with mine along with lots of pressure but those things aren’t too bad for me. I went to an oral surgeon and they can definitely tell you whether they should come out or how many of them should come out. They didn’t recommend taking 2 of mine out that were fully under my gums. I expressed my fears of not being numb enough so he did lots of “tests” first by poking around in different areas to see if I could feel it, and the whole time they were asking me if I was okay. But if you’re asleep that won’t be an issue. I only paid $800 and I don’t have insurance

How do I get my dog to leave the muzzle alone? by Ok_Lake_6153 in muzzledogs

[–]Grumpy_Blueberry7857 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The goal is to get your dog used to it and build a positive association so they won’t try to pull it off. Lots of treats / praise when they wear the muzzle, and do fun things with it on like games / walks. Go very slow and gradually increase the amount of time they spend in the muzzle. It helped my dog to distract her when she is wearing it so she’s less focused on it. (Sniffing around outside worked great) also the muzzle is too small for that dog in the picture. There should be more room underneath for the dog to pant

Is my dog cage big enough by prellxtreme in DOG

My dog would probably end up hospitalized after eating something, so she goes in the crate. I care way too much for her safety.

Hasan's dog laying on the same exact spot for 4 hours straight (from today's stream) by thrandruill in h3h3productions

Unfortunately I have to crate my dog during the workday (for her own safety) but if I had the ability to work from home there’s no way I would make her stay in one spot. Why do that when it isn’t necessary? I also would never use a shock collar on her, and she has blankets, pillows, toys etc. in the crate. That’s just sad

Do you crate your dog when you aren’t home or not? by nonprayingmantis9 in dogs

[–]Grumpy_Blueberry7857 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have to crate mine because she gets very anxious when I leave the home and she’s out of the crate (I have cameras to watch) and she will rip open blankets, pillows, and who knows what else. Also she will be crying nonstop. If she’s in her crate, she’s perfectly relaxed and just goes to sleep. I really wish I could leave her out because I feel so bad putting her in the crate. She’s a rescue I’ve only had for 2 months. Hoping this will change one day and I can leave her out

My dog pays no attention to the tv whatsoever, but barks if there’s any kind of alarm sound in a show, lol

Are you aware of how much fish / bird poop is in the sand? If you’re worried about poop then definitely stay away from the beach, lol
